"I'm glad I found this store - excellent selection of hard to find PC parts and good prices, many items on sale. Shipping prices could be a little better: just prior to this purchase I bought a heatsink twice as heavy from another e-retailer, but shipping was actually half as much. I guess it's not a big deal, since it's not a lot of money, but it's something I noticed. Can't comment on shipping speed as I just ordered, but hopefully it's going to be within the specified period for my shipping choice. So far very pleasant buying experience.
P.S. "Quick Order" option is a nifty feature.

"I ordered a lga775 bolt through kit and 3 Shin-Etsu thermal pads on monday afternoon at 1:50 pm. Their website states "In-stock orders placed before 5 p.m. ET (22:00 GMT) will ship the same day." and that's why I ordered from them they are two states over from me and so the 2-3 day usps shipping would for sure make it to my house by wednesday. I waited that evening for a shipment email but it never came. I woke up this morning and there was a shipment email from 3:45 in the morning. I emailed them and Gary Stofer responded and said that he was sorry but they ran behind from the weekend orders and some of the orders didn't go out until 4 in the morning. These things happen I know that but they didn't warn me just stated on their website that in stock orders ship the same day.

They should of known at 1:50 that they weren't going to make their 5 o'clock deadline and should have posted a notice on the website to let people know. Or emailed people and told them. Instead it still reads place an order by 5 and it will ship the same day, It doesn't say maybe it will ship like most websites it says in no unfettered terms that it will ship if ordered by 5. He said in an email that posting a notice would of taken away from packing time and confused people. I do not understand how posting a notice saying they were behind would confuse people and take more than a minute or two to post.

I am(well probably was now) setting up a system for a guy on wednesday and really need these parts. Gary said he could reship me an order today with overnight shipping, which is what they should do. But he wants me to pay the expedited shipping cost which I think is outrageous. I said in my first email that if I had known about the delay then I could of either payed for updated shipping or ordered somewhere else and now he uses that over me and in every email he says you were willing to pay for expedited shipping so if you want it tomorrow pay for expedited shipping. I should have the product tomorrow for the initial shipping charge not tomorrow for 3 times the initial shipping cost.

I already told the guy I'm doing this for the price and will not go back and ask for extra money because this company couldn't post a notice on their website. What they should have done is updated the shipping on the orders they were late with to the next level up which in my case would have been express 1-2 days.

I am extremely upset. Gary isn't exactly rude in his emails but to keep going on about the fact that I said I WOULD have payed for extra shipping if necessary isn't right. It shouldn't of been necessary if they would of shipped on time or if they let me know I could of told the guy the price with the increased shipping or ordered elsewhere. He even admits that the website says it would ship the same day and that he is going to update it to reflect that it probably will and so admits that its his fault but still won't step up and fix his problem. As it stands now I either pay 12 extra bucks for shipping out of my pocket(not a ton but I'm not rich) or look bad to this guy because we have to delay this.

So if you really need a part don't count on it shipping the same day like the website says and don't expect exceptional customer service. I knew I should of ordered from a known name but figured I'd give a new company a shot.

UPDATE: Ok in there reply they say that I placed the order on monday the busiest day, that may be but they never say mondays may take more time. They just guarantee that all orders will ship same day. I never said that I expected guaranteed wednesday delivery just that I expected it to ship on monday like they said and that would have enabled me to get it wednesday, well probably anyway but that was my risk. 4 o'clock tuesday morning isn't even close to a monday ship date to the USPS they just barely showed my order in their system a few minutes ago(10:47pm) So I might not even get this until friday now.

It doesn't matter if its a guaranteed service or not that was my risk I just wanted the product shipped on the day that you said you would and then if it doesn't show up its my fault. Instead its your fault for shipping it late.

You did apologize and I said that in my review. I said if it would have required expedited shipping I would have POSSIBLY paid it OR went somewhere else.You kept using that against me instead of taking care of me and getting me my stuff on time. I didn't become hostile and I have the emails to show it.

You said you would refund my first order shipment after I refused it yes and thats not the problem. The problem is that you then wanted me to pay 3 times the original shipping cost to get the product on the same day that I probably would have gotten it with the cheaper shipping method. Who cares what the order total is looks like you only care about people who spend a good amount of money at your store. And since you are saying the order was only an 8 dollar order then refund 1.45 of that order since it was a 9.45 order. Not much but if you want to be petty then here it is. And you say since you were late shipping it out then I shouldn't have to pay shipping so refund my shipping charges too please 4.60.

I am not mad at you for me not using a guaranteed shipping method if I had it still would have arrived a day later than it should of because you were LATE shipping it out. That is what I am unhappy about. You state that you ship the same day guaranteed and you didn't that is all. If you had shipped it the day you said you would have but it arrived a day later that would be my fault. But I'm pretty darn certain that it would have been here wednesday. I just shipped something from the east coast to my brother in portland oregon and it arrived in 3 days so I think from IN to PA(just 1 state between) it would easily come in 1 or 2 days. So it looks like I'm not a big priority because I only spent 9.45 All I wanted was to get my product shipped when you said it would and if it didn't come thats my fault but instead its yours and you didn't make it right.

"Good prices and shipping was surprisingly quick.

Best price on a LGA775 Bolt-Thru-Kit that I could find and chepest shipping, but it still beat my order from Newegg even though I ordered later. $6 shipped for a bracket sure beats bending a $200 motherboard with the standard mounting pins.
