"I purchased a canon 5D bundle which came with a cheap battery grip. Upon arrival, I installed the battery grip and realized it would not reverse and was stuck. Called 6ave and was told the only thing I could do was return it as they have had this happen before. I returned same day. They refused full credit and would only give 50% refund because the camera was returned defective. Amazon did issue me full credit but this company was a pain to deal with and wanted to keep $1400 for sending me a defective product that was returned the same day it was received. "
" I ordered a MacBook Air through overstock and 6AVE was is the actual company that sent me the product. I tried to cancel the order within 24 hours because I read the reviews after I purchased the computer, I was very nervous but I got a notice the following day that it had been shipped it took five days from when I ordered it to receive it it is brand new in the box plastic around the box, I don’t know about the other reviews that were left perhaps the company is stepping up their game but I just have to say I guess you can’t always judge a company through its reviews. I’m very satisfied with my experience.
P.S. The company got back to me and said they would be happy to return the product if I just wanted to refuse the delivery or they would also be happy when I received it to send me a shipping label to send it back so the customer service was on point for me.

"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Ordered a camera on eBay. Stated it was in stock. The next day I received a tracking number stating it had been shipped overnight. 4 days went by and still didn't receive the item. Tracking still show that a label had only been created and nothing dropped off. I call the company only to be told that they are out of stock and that they won't get anymore in for roughly 4 more weeks. I try to cancel the transaction on eBay but because they have uploaded a tracking number already, I cannot cancel now. Even though it hasn't actually been shipped. I then tell them I want to cancel my transaction and they need to approve it. They then tell me they are going to charge me a 20% cancellation fee which is almost $400!!!!! They sold me an item that wasn't in stock. Uploaded false tracking to prevent cancellations. Then try to steal $400 of my money to approve the cancellation! I am now having to get eBay involved and dispute it with my bank. This is ridiculous!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! They sell stuff on eBay, Amazon, Overstock, and tons of other online markets."
"This place is a joke. Their customer service sounds like some kid off the street. No professional approach. I ordered a camera lens and they sent the wrong one. Then they said it was my fault for not reading it right. They ****. Don't order anything from these kids "
"I thought I was ordering from overstock.com but apparently it came from these people. I was not able to set pick up at a UPS place because they have restrictions saying it has to be sent To the residence. I needed the package that day and they would not help at all. I would stay away from this company at all costs!"
"Found a camera and lense that was $1200 cheaper than it should be. Didn't see anything of concerne in the description that would have led me to believe it wasn't anything else other than what it was listed as. A US model camera and lens. After ordering I called and confirmed the order. Very nice helpful lady. Quick email responses too. Showed up a day early. Well packed with protective coverings on lens and camera body. Brand new US camera and lense confirmed with serial numbers and already registered with manufacturer online. No issues at all and very happy."
"6ave refused to refund me 20% of my $1400 order that was defective. This was an apple product that I had confirmed with apple over the phone. Apple even told me to return it to the seller for a refund. This was 100% defective. Their policy states they will NOT charge a restocking fee on a defective item. It is apparently widespread that people are returning defective items to 6ave and 6ave is refusing to let go of a restocking fee. Do not buy from this company. You assurance in a smooth process if you receive a less than perfect product will be pure disappointment. Please don't make the same mistake I, and countless others, made."
"Read all the negative reviews in here, I can not say more, just this people have the worst customer service ever.
Dealt with them through overstock, and it's a lot of headache."
"I was getting worried after seeing the bad reviews for this place but I bought a DJI Spark remote controller via Rakuten from 6ave and they shipped it the following morning and I got it 2 days later. Seems pretty legit to me."
"I have disputed the charge for the computer with my credit card company. The seller refuses to send a replacement computer-probably because they did not have one to sell to begin with. I believe that the seller is sending a box through FedEx knowing they will reimburse for the cost of the item if lost. Therefore, the box may either have 2 labels or is collapsible so that it scans for a time and then simply disappears and cannot be traced. Then when the customer complains that the box has not arrived, the seller reimburses the customer and files a claim with FedEx. What a scam. I have alerted FedEx on the activity to assess if I am right and hopefully they will expose this fraud and file charges for theft.
In the meantime, I will get my refund on my credit card. I have ordered a similar computer online from a reputable company.
Thanks for wasting my time,
M Jones

"I was reluctant to purchase from 6th Ave because of all the bad reviews. I first called their phone line and talked with a nice technical sales person who answered all my questions. I ordered a high priced Sony professional camcorder online, I received it in 2 days, brand new, never used, in perfect condition and it works great! Will buy from them again!"
"I am sorry to have to give 6ave a low rating on the basis of my experience with them. It could have been much better with only the smallest improvement of their customer service. I ordered a digital camera. The carrier never delivered it. Problems happen, I get that. But after asking me to deal first with the carrier (and the carrier's telling me after their own research to pursue the claim with 6ave) 6ave vaguely explained it would take "weeks" to figure out. After two weeks of further silence from them, I asked for an update; 6ave never responded. When I then stopped payment on the credit card, "suddenly" 6ave found the package and offered the refund. Thee words: bad customer service. I have no problem with newegg, but will never go back to 6ave."
"They run daily deal on ebay and I bought a macbook from these guys on Jun 5th. They updated tracking on Jun 7th. The tracking shows 1lb but they never ship it out after 3 weeks. When they claim "Packages ship within 24 hours from valid payment received." on the page, they mean they give you a tracking number. It doesn't mean it's going to be picked up by Fedex.
Customer service always take 2-3 days to reply and with the most useless information. Most of the items they sell is either grey market or used item. There is no manufacturer warranty, so they claim they will give you one year 6 Ave warranty that I am sure is bogus.
These people are just fraud. I am glad Amazon runs these shady NY/NJ electronic stores out of business.
I am going to file a credit card dispute. It's against FTC rule to not ship within 30 days without buyer's permission."
"I purchased a sony mirrorless compatible lens with some hesitation from 6th Ave after reading the reviews on this website. However, I'm happy to report my lens, which cost me over $2K, was delivered just as promised and was exactly as it was described on 6th aves website. I found the lens on ebay and read through 6th aves reviewes there, which were 99% positive. I'm unsure why this website tells a completely different story. Regardless, I wanted to let others know that I had a very positive experience. I even called customer service to confirm my order and they answered and said it was on its way. "
"These people advertise one thing and send you another. Don't waste your time and money with these people. The internet is full of good, honest vendors It's only a matter of time before they run out of people to scam. "
