Send expired products

"they send expired products. I contacted their representative and he told me to send him photos of expired products. after that they said that they would return my money and products so that I could throw them away. I didn't get a refund, I wrote to them and they said they would only refund 50% because I threw out expired products. I told them that their representative himself had told me to throw out expired products. They said that there was an error and will return only 50%. I will never buy on their site again and I do not advise anyone to do so"

FALSE ADVERTISERS

"This store does not deserve any stars. Beware of false advertisement.

Not sure who is behind their customer service but I have been messaging them back and forth since May 22, 2020 on an email exclusive offer that I received. 25% + 5% NuFace products. The code they provided never worked and i was simply asking them to honor it and they kept playing stupid with what i was asking. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!! BETTER to buy from Ulta full price.

AVOID! Seduce customers to place order, then cancel offer afterwards

"I placed an order with them and they promised with a complimentary gift set that worth $55. After they dispatched the items I purchased they cancelled my gift set and refuse to dispatch this gift set even they are still in stock.

I then contact them via chat, the customer service chat agent Macy was rude, refuse to send the replacement, exact quote "That is if you purchase this but not as a free gift sorry!". So why do you promise it at the first place???

They just seduce you place the order on their website, and then cancel any offer they previously promised after your items have dispatched.

AVOID THIS WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!

"I wish I would have seen these reviewed…
I wish I would have seen these reviewed before I purchased from them. I bought NuFACE through them. It was about $360 and that included a 15 percent discount. The very next day they were offering 25 Percent. They would not give me a credit for difference. They are impossible to get in touch with. In addition, cream was never with product. Would never purchase from them again. This was my first and last experience with them!

SCAM! BE CAREFUL! READ TWEETS ON TWITTER!

"Order number: 212245782
Read all the tweets directed at them on Twitter. It's a scam. You will never get your package nor refund. If you do get a package delivered, it won't be the products you ordered. Just read the tweets on Twitter, it says it all. And they conveniently do not have a customer service phone line.
What's even more baffling is the complete absence of credibility: in a Twitter DM I am being told my arrive will arrive in a few days (mind you my order is now a month old) while on their website, their customer service representative tells me through message that the parcel was returned to them. They asked if I want a refund, I answered saying I do. Then they magically stop answering again. After following up for the umpteenth time with them, another customer representative says she's still waiting for me to confirm whether or not I want a refund. It is an obvious pathetic attempt to stall a customer to not issue a refund. What a joke of a company/website. Thank god i only spent 30 dollars, some people are being scammed off of hundreds of dollars!! Shame on you for scamming people!!!!!

Scam!

"I purchased Nubody from them just because I was supposed to get the free beauty bag worth 177 dollars. Sure enough, I got my order, but free beauty bag was missing. After sending couple of emails, I finally got an email that there was a mistake in warehouse dispatch so this is why the beauty bag was not shipped and they are working on fixing the problem. After my other emails, I got an email from them where they offered 10 dollars credit instead of my beauty bag. I asked to send me my beauty bag or something of similar value. Still no answer. That was my first purchase from Skin Store and it would be my last one. I wish I read the reviews before buying from them.

I am not the only victim!

"I had a terrible experience with skinstore.com, wanted to write a review of their bad customer service on their website but couldn't find a relevant space there. I searched and found Trustpilot, and found many people like me, who have had bad experience with Skinstore.com recently.
I made a purchase in early March. There were 8 items, including a generous gift with purchase. Very soon, I got a parcel from them, but there were only 3 very low-priced items sent to me. I was surprised, but on the website, they said those 5 items were being processed. So I waited.
A few weeks later, I got an email saying they cancelled the free-gift. To be honest, if there was not the gift, I would have chosen to buy the items on another website. How could they say they would give me one day, and cancel it another day? I contacted the CS and asked them to give me a gift of similar value, and also when they were shipping the rest of my order. They said they would try to find something in the warehouse and would give me a reply.
A few weeks passed, no-one answered. I contacted them again. The same person told me she would give me $5 (in replacement of the gift that they claimed to worth $309), and since I live in China (actually Hong Kong), they cannot send the rest of the order to me.
It was totally ridiculous. Why could they have sent me part of the order? And they don't even get the destination right! I have been placing orders from other US based website in February and March and have received them without problem. I think they are hopeless, and I asked for cancelling my order, and have the shipping fee refunded as well. They said since part of the order had been sent, they couldn't refund the shipping charge.
I didn't ask them to send me whatever were available first, they sent me a few low priced items, together with the shipping, I was actually paying much more than if I bought on other websites. Why should I choose Skinstore.com? There are many websites which provide free shipping. It's like they attract you with discount, generous free gift..., once set you in the trap, you suffer!
Even now, you are still order things with international shipping. Why don't they stop shipping internationally when they say COVID-19 stops them from sending everyone their order?

Counterfeit product

"Sold me counterfeit Aesop hand sanitizer. I have purchased this product before direct from Aesop. From SkinStore It’s a different viscosity, more watery, and totally different smell. Smells of pure alcohol and none of the essential oil smell. Very disappointing at a time like this they are selling counterfeit hand sanitizer. Buyer beware! "

Stay away! Scam and Unfair Competition Tricks.

"I placed my order months ago and spent around $ 500 for two products. There was a promotion of NuFace for the Gel Primer (worth $48) if you buy the Trinity Set.
This promotion was the only reason why I chose Skinstore and not another seller and why I spent so much money on one order.
I never received that Gel Primer. They wrote me first that it will be delivered later, there is some delay. I received two emails from Skinstore where they asked me to wait a bit and assured that the missing item will be shipped soon.
I waited for months, checked from time to time the status of the product and it showed me “in Progerss” or smth like that. So after waiting for months I decided to write to customer service and discovered, that the missing item was simply cancelled by Skinstore!
 They lure customers in with those promotions but never fulfill their obligations. The customer service was poor and just offered me a credit for $5 instead of missing item worth $48! It a scam and unfair competition, as they lure the customers who would make their purchases at other sites.
Besides, the customer service kept telling me that this Gel Primer is “out of stock” while it is very well available and is on stock on their site and can be ordered. Do they think the people are that stupid and would believe those lies?

Never in my life (and I order almost everything online) I saw such an unreliable business and such a poor customer service. Be aware!

Horrible return policy

"I bought a Nuface device with all the attachments from them last month. It irritates my skin and I see no results after almost 3 weeks. I called to return and they said they have a strict return policy because they are third party sellers. I cannot find this info anywhere on there website and I have to go through a process to see if my item can be returned. This is not how most online retailers work these days. Pleas save yourself some hassle and buy somewhere else."

Failure to honor Promotional products and unsealed products sent pose a possible contamination threat

"Skinstore of the Hut group has no intention of honoring their promotional gifts used to entice you to increase your order. I spent more than 1 more on chat and was escalated to a supervisor. Since they dont know what the promotional gift was they cant tell anything about this. (my order was in excess of $200) Hut parent company of Skinstore if your looking my order # is199845590. This fraud gives cause to my second complaint in that PRODUCTS ARRIVE WITHOUT ANY SAFETY SEAL. Their chat states they get their products straight from a warehouse and expect a safety seal. NOT ONE OF MY 9 skin products had any tamper resistance or safety seal. In fact one item looks like a return and was not full. This poses a danger of contamination. Perhaps this is the cause of some of the other reviewers. I have purchased Molton Brown products prior from other sites and there is a safety seal "

Worst experience ever

"Since I already wasted hours of my life on this, I might as well make a review here to prevent future frustration for others. I got my neostrata gel today and as I opened the box, I found it leaking. It's 15% acid so I wiped it clean before I felt safe to open it to check. Clearly it has no seal (which is something not uncommon so it's fine). But the lid is way too loose(hence the leaking). Upon opening the lid, I found there's so much dust inside the lid and even inside the gel. I looked closely and even saw a small hairs in the gel. I have not accepted anything like this and will not feel safe to use it. After talking to an adviser on their website, and wasting a couple hour trying to upload pictures to show "damage", I was told I cannot return or exchange since I cannot prove the "damage". No matter how I tried to explain it was leaking when it came and picture could not capture the dust or the hair inside the gel. There's no store so I cannot drop it in person.This is the first time in the us that I cannot even return something defective and I could not use."

How on earth can this company continue to get away with cheating customers?

"Do not order anything from this so called company,

I spent a considerable sum of money on a beauty device from SkinStore which I could have also purchased for a similar price in the UK even though I knew I would have to spend extra on a plug adaptor. The offer of £150 ($190) value free gift swung it for me and I was excited to try out some new products.

I cannot fathom how this gift has a value of £150. Its a total con, the very few contents are the free sachets you receive at the beauty counter approx 2-3 ml of product only. Not only this, but the 2 of the main products were missing.

I contact Skin store to let them know I was expecting they would ship the products the missing products.

What I actually got was a rude message asking me to photograph the shipping information package? The packaging had not been tampered with and surely as they shipped the package they know the company they used. The email insinuated that the items could not be missing, seriously how can you possibly make this unfounded statement, are they trying to say I am a liar? Disgraceful.

They have negated any responsibility for the missing items, seriously how are they allowed to get away with this?

They also advised I could send the product back if I was unhappy, obviously this is a considerable cost from the UK to the US especially for a heavy item.

Their response is unprofessional and shameful.

I would advise to you all ... do not purchase from this company. I shall not be using them in future.

You have been warned!

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM SKINSTORE.COM

"I wish I read reviews about this company before I bought from them. WARNING: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SKINSTORE.COM! I‘ve never left a negative review about any company before, but they are so incompetent that I needed to post something to warn others. I placed two orders with them, each a week a part. When I got FedEx tracking email notifying me that package is on its way, the delivery address is incorrect. While order 1 was still at FedEx warehouse, I contact Skinstore about this error. Ample time for Shipper to correct address mistake. Nope, it still went out to wrong address. Now I have to fill out their form to report this and wait for them to fix it. Worst thing was that I alerted them about the second package before Skinstore even shipped it, and same thing happened; wrong delivery address. I have no faith or trust in this company’s ability to fix customer problems/concerns. Since they couldn’t fix my issue with second order, they tell me they just going to cancel my order and refund my money. SMH I sincerely hope my refund goes smoothly, because SkinStore.com is the incarnate of incompetence!"
