I never ordered Mysterybox. never had any problems and I received my orders with in 5 business days. Some people complain about delivery times, if you don't like those odds and are in a hurry, you could pay a few bucks more somewhere else. "Horrible customer service. No response to several emails sent to their support email. No phone number on website to contact.
Calling their parent website (softwaresupplygroup) puts you on hold for a lengthy period of time, only to find out one guy, "Dave" is in charge of snaggstuff phone calls. After being transferred and put on hold again, you find out that he's never in the office.
Basically I placed an order and received a tracking number after many days (in my previous online experience, I received a tracking number within a few days of my order being placed.) In this case I did not receive the tracking info (an automated email) until July 8th (my original order was placed on June 28th). Of course my credit card was charged almost immediately.
The big issue I have is not with the time; that can be forgiven as it is understandable that there may be unforseen circumstances. My issue was that the tracking number I was given DOES NOT EXIST according to fedex.com. On the snaggstuff email (and my order status page) it says it is a "FedExTrackingNumber" but nope, that number does not exist.
Horrible company. Bad experience. Will not order from them ever again. And after reading their forums, I know that I'm not the only one with this experience; it seems that practically everyone who's ordered from them has not been satisfied with their service.
I am mystified as to how this company can stay in business."
"Horrible experience took over a month to send a "mystery box' to cure the BOC blues" and claimed it would have a $50 value. I received junk that is not only COMPLETELY USELESS like a foam drive case, but it totaled to about $12 in value, not even worth my time, will NEVER do business with them again. The costumer service is abysmal, no emails and the self proclaimed "representative" on the forums called a guy an idiot for complaining about his over a month late "mystery box."
