"Emailed question about some item, no response received.
Placed an order for an item, received automated email few days later about being unable to verify shipping/billing address as it is required by Visa (sure it was exactly the same as in credit card statement) suggesting to send money by Western Union or bank wire! Or send them copies of _both_ my ID and card by fax or email! Guess what Visa would say about sending credit card copies by unencrypted email? I understand that online shop needs to filter out fraud but I don't want compromise my own security because of that at all.
Emailed again for details, no response received.
Emailed yet again asking to cancel the order. I was very happy it was finally done. Not so happy about time wasted and promotional deals missed elsewhere during this hassle.
Made the order for the same item with the same buyer data from n..... - VerifiedByVisa support, same day shippment, no hassle.

"An order for two Cisco load balancers we had placed with another company fell through a few days before a scheduled move to a new data center. I found Sparco whilst googling for places with that particular model in stock, and the availability info on their website said they had 3 in stock at one of their nearby warehouses (PA?). I called up to verify this info (it was indeed accurate), and the sales rep I spoke with also gave me a discount for ordering multiple items, even though I hadn't asked for one. We had the units shipped overnight, and sure enough they arrived by 3pm the following day.
Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll be ordering from them again."
"When item was ordered the "LIVE AVAILABLITY" stated 40 or so were available from the Austin, Texas location. "NONE" available from two other locations. Three days after order, Sparco replied with an out of stock & discontinued e-mail. I called the company & was told the item was probably pulled over the weekend by manufacturer. The item was upgraded with a new product. Sparco would not honor the same price ($10 more) for the upgraded item. Thus, a refund was requested. No customer satisfaction. "
"I am very satisfied with my purchase at sparco.com. The price is low, and customer service is friendly and effective. And I got the motherboard less than 2 days. Superp!!! For folks who use Paypal, one thing could be improved is to link Paypal screen to the website so that the customers can pay and finalize the purchase in one transaction. Currently, the customers must login and enter the payment manually at Paypal.com website. Not everyone pays attention to this details (like mentioned by a previous reviewer).
Bottomline, I would buy from sparco again, and recommend this store to my friends."
"Only one store in my local area carries HP TVs. They could've ordered the one I wanted, I could have waited 4-6 weeks and then paid 7% sales tax. Instead, I rolled the dice a bit (last 6 month ratings had me a bit concerned), pocketed a thousand dollars and got my TV in 11 calendar days, four of which were the Thanksgiving weekend.
Customer service contacted me promptly and politely after I made an error on the online order form (who knew you can't overnight a 100 pound TV?).
Absolutely no problems noted with this merchant."
"Purchase process was smooth.
Returns sucked. 15% restocking fee for UNOPENED items, and if your order was less than $33 than the minimum of $5 is charged. And of course you have to pay shipping."
"I purchased 2 memory sticks from this reseller which were not in stock at that time. There was an estimate of about 2 weeks for it to ship. According to them the supplier pushed back the shipping date numerous times and it is now almost 90 days later and I still did not receive the items so I cancelled my order. I had paid with paypal and according to them they cannot issue a refund through paypal after 60 days so they had to pay me with paypal. When they pay me with paypal I get charged a fee! So my money was GONE for 3 months AND I was charged a fee after not recieving any product!!! I was then told that they lost money on the transaction as well and having paypal charge me a fee was the only way they can refund me. This is not my issue, it seems to me that it is their problem as a business to deal with and not mine as the customer who was out money all this time and now has lost money without any product. The website is fine, and the customer service seems friendly, but I as a customer should not be charged these fees even if it is paypal charging it."
"The camera I ordered showed stock at various locations. A couple of days after placing the order, not having any sort of shipment confirmation, I sent an email to customer service. They said one of the items in my order had been out of stock but was now in stock so they would ship the order that day. They didn't. A couple of days later after emailing customer service again they told me the camera was not only out of stock but discontinued. Meanwhile Sparco had not alerted me of this at all. They offered to sell me a newer model for a small difference which I agreed to. I was very unpleasantly surprised to see that they had charged my credit card for the order the day it was placed even though the order had not shipped five days later. I am very dissatisfied with their policy of charging my card immediately as opposed to waiting until the order ships. They now say the order has shipped but I don't have a tracking number.
Overall, poor service and sloppy processes.
Update: As of 5/20 (16 days after the order was placed) I have not received the camera. FedEx supposedly routed the package incorrectly. It was shipped from PA to NH, but somehow ended up in OR. Strange."
"I bought a Canon Optura 40 for the same price offered as a scam from other sites, I went through so much b/s trying to get this camera for cheap. If I had only known about sparco.com ... They even shiped it to another wherhouse before shipping it to me so I didn't have to pay $50+ tax. If they have what you need buy it from them."
