" OK, so I had a friend recommend these people to me so I gave it a shot. I ordered two 23 10.50X12 lawn mower tires from them. Even though I got a tracking number almost immediately it took a couple of days to get them to FedEx. They were supposed to arrive on Thursday April 15 and I got a email saying they were delivered.
So here's where it gets bad. When I ordered I was given an option to have shipped to FedEx facility here in town and save money. I clicked the box and at checkout there wasn't any price change. I went back and unchecked the box and checked home delivery and thought that's were they were going. So, when I got the email that they were delivered I looked and saw they weren't on my property. After some research I saw they were delivered to the FedEx facility in a Wal Mart here in town. I left my shop to retrieve them and the FedEx facility didn't have them. So, I was referred to Wal Mart because they may have been delivered to them.
So, talking to Wal Mart I was sent to automotive and lawn and garden depts to try to find them. After about 45 minutes of chasing around the store I had enough and went back to FedEx and told them they were the last ones to have them so they needed to find them.
FedEx people told me I had to file a claim for lost goods at their 800 number and they weren't responsible to look for them.
I called Speedy tire and got customer service who basically told me that it's my fault because I checked the box to deliver to FedEx instead of my place. They did take my information and said they would get FedEx on it and try to find where the tires were. They were supposed to call me right back that afternoon. That call never came.
So, again I call on the morning of April 16 to find out what the status was. They still didn't have a answer and was going to call Wal Mart to have them look for them. Since that was fruitless on the 15th I expressed that they should have been looking sooner. I was told that if the tires weren't found by the end of the day on 16th they would ship another set. Since my customer was expecting his machine back for the weekend I needed to find another source in the Kansas City area and send my secretary or myself to Kansas City to retrieve them. A drive of 50+ miles round trip.
I cancelled the order. I don't need this drama when I have a timeline to get things done. My customer is upset and that makes me upset.
So, I am a one and done with this company. It may have been my fault that they got shipped to the FedEx facility instead of my shop but it still doesn't resolve the issue of where the tires went and why I had to call for updates after I was promised a call back. A call that didn't come. "

Unfortunately the tires were sent to the FedEx center in Walmart instead of your home and in this case FedEx could not locate the tires. Our customer service rep did put a trace to FedEx and she stated to you that it would take up to 48 hours before knowing anything. We have documents that the center did receive the tires and the person's name who signed for the order. However this does not make up for everything but SpeedyTire takes great pride in delivering the utmost professional customer service to our customers.
