Ordering & Delivery - very disappointed in time it took to fulfill order and lack of clarity with regard to when products would arrive. I selected expedited shipping but it was never clearly indicated that it would take 4 plus days to ship. As a result, products did not arrive in the time frame expected and expedited shipping was a waste.
Overall - excellent selection, prices seem to be reasonable, but beware of slow shipping process and make sure to add that in determination of time it will take to actually receive your order."

"After reading all these reviews, I decided to talk to a representative today. I ordered my stuff last night. I'm not quite comprehending why you guys had issues contacting them. They have a live chat on there during normal business hours. It can take up to 24 hours to process and once it is processed it should be shipped. So far I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The lady was extremely helpful. Just waiting for that email now. I can not wait to surprise my boyfriend with this."

"I should have read the reviews first. I placed an order a week ago which should be plenty of time for my order to get to my house by this weekend. I was wrong, besides my conformation email I have yet to see a charge for the order or any sign of my order being processed. I was able to find the same items on a different site which ships the same day, and has great reviews on this site. After many calls and emails to try and cancel my order I may have to contact the BBB since none of the sites "customer support" options seem to get you any support."

"I wish I had found these reviews way earlier. As you can see, I placed an order for a dress I planned on wearing to my senior prom in February. I received an email confirming the order shortly after, which has now mysteriously vanished from my email. On March 1st I was emailed about my item being on backorder. I figured it was no big deal since the prom wasn't until April. Well, the prom is THIS Saturday, and I have still not received my order! I contacted Spicy Lingerie via email and got a very short response that answered none of my questions. I waited a bit longer, and emailed them again without ever hearing back. A few days ago, I directly contacted them through their site and was not responded to, yet again! I stumbled across these reviews, a little too late now, and sent another email:

This is the third time I have tried contacting your business. I only received a response the first time I sent an email, and it was not helpful in any way. I would simply like to know when I can expect my order to arrive since it was ordered February 25th and it is now April. I need my order by this Saturday, but after reading several reviews, I have seen that there are many issues with your shipping and I will probably not receive my item until much later. I need to be notified about when I will be getting what I paid for and any options I have for cancelling the order if it will not be here in time.

I wonder if I will receive any kind of response this time... If my dress is not here before Saturday, I am going to have to do last minute shopping, which I wanted to avoid by purchasing something online. Now my options are quite slim and I thought I had made a smart decision!! IF YOU NEED SOMETHING BEFORE A DEADLINE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Their customer service is horrible and their prices are way too high seeing as their quality of service is so poor. I DO NOT recommend Spicy Lingerie and will never be placing another order from them in the future. I only hope the next person about to make such a mistake reads these reviews before attempting to make a purchase!

EDIT: I reported the company to the BBB and wrote this review, then received an email concerning the above issues. I exchanged a few emails, and cancelled my order. I hope that the company learns to handle all questions and concerns like they had after I had reported them. The customer service seemed to improve dramatically, but only after I had taken further action to get their attention. If they continue to respond in the friendly manner that I have now encountered, their business will improve dramatically. As consumers, we only ask to be treated with respect and be informed, so we know we have not been scammed. I do appreciate the cancellation, emails, and kind words, but I only wish it had come before I had to report them and write this review."

"okay so... for all of the people out there reading these reviews and FREAKING OUT.... Seriously they are either all out of fear because of other bad reviews or they needed a product much sooner then this particular company can commit to. If you have a week until you need the product, I would NOT purchase from this company simply because it takes them a while to process and ship out orders. But if you are in no rush, this is a great place to purchase from. The prices are great and to be honest I talked to someone several times with questions and I not only heard back from them every time but they were VERY polite. A day or so after I made my order I stumbled on all of these reviews... I got so scared that I almost cancelled my order. I am so glad that I didn't. I made my order Thursday March 29th and it was shipped out on April 4th. I haven't received it yet but I am tracking it and I am SOOOOO excited to try everything on when it gets here! I HIGHLY recommend Spicy Lingerie, their prices are WAY worth the extra few days of waiting for them to be shipped out... not to mention, FREE SHIPPING AND A FREE GIFT!!! "I placed an order with spicy lingerie on MONDAY, february 12, 2012. I ordered one bra with 2-3 day priority shipping. I received an e-mail right after I put the payment through in the website. The e-mail had confirmed everything. With 2-3 day shipping, my purchase should have arrived by the weekend. Friday and Saturday went by and there was still nothing, so, I e-mailed them to find out what was going on. I told them that when I go to check the status at UPS with the number they sent me, everything comes up blank. I also told them that since my order has not been shipped and since I did not receive it when I needed it by, I wanted to see about canceling it. Two days later (today), I receive an e-mail from Vivian telling me that my order is now shipped and thanking me for my timely patience. She did not address one thing I said in the e-mail. Finally, I called them and Vivian tells me that there is nothing she can do because it has been shipped. They do not accept returns and I can do whatever I want with my purchase. When I asked to speak to someone higher up she told me that there is nobody higher than her and then told me she will be getting off the phone with me and hung up on me abruptly. Horrible service. Rude people. Vivian has absolutely no people skills. All this company wants is your MONEY!!!! This business is a SCAM. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!"

after the company saw this review I posted below, someone did contact me and promise to refund me my $3 restocking fee. I was also told that if I decided to purchase from them again I would receive 20% off my order. The DID ask me to update this and give them a hire review, and I think that's why they offered me so much. I did a lot of complaining about "Vivian" and they assured me she would be dealt with properly. I'm satisfied that someone did see this and decided to correct the issues that I did have, but I still don't think they've won my trust back 100%.

This is the most ridiculous company ever! I placed an order for 2 items and after a week of not receiving any information on when or if my order was shipped, i tried to contact the company. Their phone was never answered, went to a full mail box, or was "disconnect". I e-mailed them and 2 days later got an e-mail back saying my package would be shipped "shortly". I sent a second e-mail saying to CANCEL the order because I wouldn't have the products when I needed them. Low and behold an hour later I get an e-mail saying the product has been shipped and I should receive it in a few days. I e-mailed this "Vivian" person back who sent me the e-mails. She told me it was not her fault and it had already been shipped. I pointed out that she ignored the e-mail (it was opened and read, i was sent an e-mail once it was opened from my e-mail provider) and she started giving me some serious attitude... i received the package. I took the unopened package to my local post office, COMPLETELY UNOPENED, slapped at RETURN TO SENDER -THIS ORDER WAS CANCELED, and a tracking number on it and sent it back. Today, I got another snotty letter from this Vivian woman saying that "when they get the package back", which i checked--it was delivered yesterday, it will be reviewed in the order it was received in and i should see a credit to my account with in 7-14 business days minus a restocking fee...

I am sooo angry with this company. They clearly have no idea how to conduct business and it's such a shame considering they actually have some really nice things at a decent price. It's a huge scam and I can almost bet I'm not getting my money back, so I filed a claim with the bank. I really wish I would have read all these other reviews before I purchased from this company.

today i received an e-mail addressed to a "dear j" (there isn't a single J any where in my full name) saying that they saw my review on this site and would be more than willing to correct the problem... i FINALLY did get my money back after my bank went after them for the claim I filed with them for fraud. (this was just about a week ago they forked it over) they did take a $3 "restocking" fee... but at this point i don't care. I just wanted them to go away. still think it is a horrible business and would never even consider trying to purchase a thing from them ever again. after telling a friend about it she informed me that they sent her everything in her order 2 months late and all in different sizes. she's a medium. everything was either large or small and they refused to take any of the products back. she ended up being stuck with $200 worth of lingerie in which none of it fit... "

"I really wish I would have did research on this site before I placed an order with this company. I order an item on the 24th of Feb. And just like others I got an confirmation number within an hour. However days and two weeks later I have yet to receive a shipping notice or a tracking number. I have sent numerous emails with no response. When I finally did hear back they said my item will be shipped shortly. Meantime my bank gave me back the money the company took out for my order and what do you know the company took it back out. I just want this to be over with. I won't order from this site again, I don't know how it has so many good reviews."

"I ordered an item for Valentines day this year from this site. I had read a few great reviews on it so I found no harm in ordering from a site I was unfamiliar with. I ordered the item a week before Valentines day and requested 2 day shipping. Not only did the item never arrive, but I was promised a tracking number within 24 hours of the order.. Never got one. SECOND their "24 hour" Customer Service is non existent. I called day after day trying to find out what the deal was with my package. I tried the "Chat box" and got someone to talk to me, and she ended our chat quiet quickly (with no word of warning). I have no emails from them replying to any questions or complaints. Today, I received and email in my SPAM box from some bogus "Express Post" saying my item was delivered the 11th of this month but my address had error so if I would like to get my package I should go pick up the package at the "Express Post", we do not have an express post. And the Attachment of the mailing label that I had to have printed to present to the Express post was in some strange coding that gave no sign of english and or location. This place is a scam and I am now out of they sum of money, without my item, with a Valentines day that was ruined. I had to spend even more money on other things to make up for my lack of gift. I will NEVER order from any site that I have never heard of, and never again will I even glance at this one. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Its the biggest SCAM ever!!!!!!!"
