"The customer service at Spreadshirt is ridiculous and completely incompetent. I ordered a women's size XL tshirt to wear to a basketball game and was sent a men's size XL. The men's size was way too big for me and when I called and told them that I needed the correct tshirt within a couple of days, I was told there was nothing they could do for me. When I asked the Spreadshirt representative, "Does that mean I'm just sh*t out of luck?" She said, "Yes, that's what that means." Then after sending another email to this company to ask how to handle the return, I received no response back from them.
I recognize that we all make mistakes, but a competent and reputable company would have provided at least a small level of customer service. I'll never use this company again and will spread the word.

"I have read some not-so-good reviews from customers who have ordered from spreadshirt.com so I will not lie, I was hesitant of ordering. One complaint was that their shirt was a 'heavy weight' shirt. I double checked my cart, and one shirt was actually heavy weight. That was not the companies fault considering it says right there on the headline of the product. The other complaint was the shipping...for 4.50 you shouldn't complain! None the less, I decided to pick the 3 day select shipping. I received my shirts exactly when I was supposed to and I love them! By the way, 42.50 including 11.50 shipping is not bad at all for 2 shirts!! Loved spreadshirt.com and will definitely use them again!"
"Nice website, but very poor customer service and delay in shipment even with expedited shipping. When I called to upgrage to overnight shipping, I was told that it was impossible since their were so many orders out to be shipped. Terrible customer service."

"7ree shipping on orders over 50 with code. I shop online pretty frequently because of its convenience so I would know how to press "Redeem Coupon." It showed 7 for shipping and -7 below it and for some reason it didn't on the payment page. I called the company today and told them i put in the code and did not receive the discount. They said it was because I didn't press it and since they just shipped it there's nothing they can do. I spent more than 50 so I would've appreciated if they would've just tried. I consider myself a loyal customer to good businesses but not with one who can care less. They got an extra 7 dollars out of me but lost much more from what I had planned to order later this week. "
"I recieved my order in less then 5 business days, They sent me the wrong type of shirt, it was a heavy weight t shirt, I choose a standard weight t shirt, standard because I like the loose light feeling, not the thick bulky feeling of a heavy weight.
The design was as I designed it, However when it came down to giving me a refund I recieved only a partial refund, They were basically making me pay for the return shipping which is not normal for a business that makes mistakes.
So Instead of waiting 2 days for each customer service email reply, I just contacted paypal and had them refund me and they will be dealing with them.
What kind of company refunds a partial payment, Ohh thanks for buying the new audi, but since you returned it in the same condition as we sold it to you and with the same mileage, you will only get 85% of what you paid back, no thank you!"
"I normally don't write editorials about companies, but I feel I must share my HORRIBLE experience with the company Spreadshirt.com. They have absolutely the WORST email and telephone customer service ever (both cust reps and managers). Short version (which is still long) .... I emailed inquiring about shipping on my order ~ got a generic cut n paste answer about production & shipping times ~ nothing specific to my order, emailed back asking about my order and explaining that I might need to change shipping method to arrive by Friday ~ still no answer 48 hours later (website says all will be answered w/i 24 hours) So I called on the phone, talked to Kristen who was no help at all and stated "we are really busy right now due to St. Paddy's Day, all the orders get thrown in together and processed as soon as possible." Well my order placed on 3/5 still was in production and a friend's order placed on the 3/6 had already shipped (same exact type and qty of shirts). She had no explanation for that and said she would check to change the shipping ~ nope, can't do it. No way to find the order. REALLY ~ your company can't find my order in their own facility; and you have no way to notify shipping department through the computer to tag the order to go overnight instead?? (I wasn't even asking for them to pay for the upgraded shipping) Well, I'll have to have a manager call you back ~ shockingly I did get a call back and the manager indicated my order had been to QA a "couple" times and that it should be going to shipping "soon", but there is no way to locate my order or change the shipping method ... so you're telling me that your company messed up my order which caused it to be delayed, and now there is noting you can or will do about it. "Well I will 'try' and see what I can do and I'll get back to you and let you know .......... last I ever heard from them, other than the auto email that states your order has been shipped standard ~ perfect !! my St. Paddy's Day stuff will be here next week ..... thanks for putting the customer first and going to extra mile to help spreadshirt.com! They suck, stay away from them. As I friend of mine pointed out "If I ran my business that way I wouldn't have a business!"

"The first time I placed an order it took almost a month to receive two t-shirts which was fine with me, I'm a patient person. The problem lay in the transfer, both had serious flaws and for 20 some bucks a piece, I can buy brand name shirts at department stores. So I shipped them back, they said they would send proper shirts. The second set of shirts looked exactly like the first just re bagged. 4 months later I am still working out a refund. Worst online shopping experience ever! -5 out of 5 stars."

"This has to be the worst customer experience I have ever had at a company! Guaranteed me the wrong business day for my shipping and I will not receive what I paid for on time. They offered a "FREE" standard shipping promotion. I instead went with a 3 day select shipping option to get my order shipped to me on time. Little did I know that in there "fine print" policy that it actually meant 7 full days and 5 business days! Complete rip off, they are not going to deliver my order on time and I had to pay extra for nothing. In addition, their customer service rep I spoke with on the phone was rude and did not listen to my concern or "care" for my issues. "
"Earlier I used to design and print my Tshirts through Zazzle but this time I thought of using spreadshirt. They have nice selection for custom Tshirts and I their print quality is better and design area is larger than zazzle. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would highly recommend them."

The standard weight and heavyweight men's shirts are comfortable. They didn't come with any defects I noticed. The price for getting simple lettering done on my shirts was surprisingly inexpensive as well, along with pretty reasonable shipping prices.
The only thing that I would say could improve the service is that they do not offer the choice of tagless shirts. I HATE TAGS! I bought four shirts just to try them out, and if they offered tagless options, I would order a LOT more."

"The shirt was high quality and the screening was very nice as well. The shipper that is used leaves a lot to be desired. It took 12 days to get from Kentucky to North Carolina. I would love to order more but I am really hesitant because of the shipping situation."
