"Placed an order for product that showed as in stock. Several days later i went to check on the order status and discovered it had been cancelled without notice. I wrote to them but received no response. I did receive an email notification 8 days after they cancelled it!
Based on other reviews, I'm not convinced this company isn't an out and out scam. "
"I ordered clematas 2 months ago I called to find out where they were they said they'd be October 6th at my door. I called cuz they're not here they said they'd be here the end of October. I asked for to speak to a manager. But I was not given one. I canceled my order. This company had already charged me months ago for this order and didn't even wait to put the order on my credit card when it was shipped out. And they've been using my money all along."
"I ordered over $100.00 in flowers on April 13,2022 & the date the company gave for delivery was approx. May 15th, 2022 at the latest. Well, May 15th came & went & no flowers, no info. from them about order running late, etc. At the end of May, I got in touch w/them & all of a sudden I would be getting my flowers around June 15th. That is after I said I would cancel my order & wanted my damn money back. Well, lo & behold I received all my flowers except one item that I am still waiting on, within days. I thought it was a bit late to plant everything, but I took the chance & we shall see. I have a feeling if I hadn't caused a bit of a stink, I may never have received my order. Very disappointed w/this company & I wouldn't do business w/them again!"

"Oh my goodness what a disaster. I spent several hundred dollars on what I thought would be beautiful flowers. Their selection was so expansive. What I received was garbage. The only plants alive are the lavender that came in small pots. All the other plants arrived 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. in a bag in some dry medium. I had to store them in my refrigerator, as they suggested. All of the plants died. What was worse, is the quality they shipped, so sad. The Maximillian perennial sunflowers were three tiny sticks that were less than 3 inches in length, about the thickness of a charging cord for your phone, and crispy dead. A tiny stick is not $20. Plants are supposed to be shipped a week or two at the most before the last frost. Who can get out in the 40-degree weather dig in the dirt and put plants in the ground when it will be 27 degrees that evening? I should have just buried the money I wasted. I have asked and asked and demanded a refund and all I get is "we shipped you what you asked for", so sorry! Really? AVOID this company! "

When I call and ask, they are very polite, but have no reasons for the delays. Was told they shouldn't not be delayed again after 2nd delay. They are delayed again, nor reason given.

"ordered 2 plants for a total of $110 in June 2021. They were to be shipped in the fall and when I checked on the status in early Nov., they said they would arrive 11/17. A couple days later I get an email that they refunded my $110. No explanation. So they used my money for 5 months and then had no product to send. What a rip off. "

"SpringHill Nursery ad $25 off order over $50. Got a peony @$50+$12 ship. Checkout w/code jumped price to $70+$17 ship & $7 off. Customer service apologized gave me 50% off code-price now $90 & $4 off !!! When I protested, told me "probably better to order without code". Obviously I canceled my order. What a scam."
"Unfortunately, the company is poor at keeping their word /following through on customer service requests. Shipping deadlines are changed online without any notification and when you call incorrect deadlines are often given with no sensible explanation. While partial shipments often occur on orders, sometimes that one item is not in stock is used as excuse. No one takes responsibility and either offers untruths or to offer to send meaningless emails that apparently go ignored. This company is not worth it. It is stressful and problematic to deal. They dont seem to care if the plants they send out will die. They are not to be trusted if you care about planning your garden and want any say in the shipping or plan your time around the shipping dates posted on the website within your order. I also think it is interesting that they only comment on positive comments and say nothing about the numerous complaints on this issue...I consider it is a tacit admission that they are deeply flawed and bad at customer service, shipping, keeping their word and execution. I regret ordering from them."
"I ordered 2 sets of strawberry plants in Feb., and they were to be shipped the first week of June. And, now, May 30th, i get a email from them that said my order has been cancelled, because they ran out of strawberries. Not a very good way to do business!! I will never order from them again."
"I have purchased a few plants, followed directions as indicated, planted at the appropriate times, and had one batch of hardy ferns turn out to be duds. I have written them 3 times on this, called them, and get no response. If my time wasn't worth more than what its taken to get a response, then I would stay on it. Pretty disappointed, and probably will not reorder from them. "
