"I was very disappointed that not a soul was around to speak to, music wasn't on either, maybe I won't have felt like I wasn't alone in the store if at least there was something going on - It seems since the store has become a Stage, rather than Beall's it is less friendly. Never anyone to welcome you, to acknowledge someone is around to help if you need assistance. Just not welcoming at all -- It is convenient to shop this store so I go back, when my granddaughter is with me, she usually finds something she likes. If it gets any more unwelcoming I will discontinue shopping here."

"I love the merchandise and the prices and sales but the store is very cluttered and junky. There are clothing items on the floor and some people do not step over them and I could not locate a sales associate to help me with questions about unmarked displays. I spoke to the associate at the shoe department check out and she informed me that there has been a reduction in hours for the staff and that is the reason I was unable to get help. She also informed me that is the reason for only 2 check out areas. She was not very cordial and seemed a bit put off by my questions. I thanked her for her time and paid for my purchase and left the store."

"The experience was fine, but there was a line to wait to get checked out. The checkouts closed early and they should have waited a little longer to close their registers. It is known that during the holiday, there is more traffic in the store. That should be a consideration in the future."
