"After purchasing over $500 of merchandise (not counting discounts,) the Miami Stage manager followed me out to the car carrying my purchases. Initially, I thought what a thoughtful thing to do since I was using a walker; but the scene changed very quickly. She informed me that she was the manager and that “usually” she wouldn’t say anything but felt she needed to “talk” with me, insisting that i had been ”really rude” to her employee the previous day; so much so, that her employee was in tears and so upset that she couldn’t finish her shift. When attempting to ask her specifically what I had said or done, her response was, “You're not the only customer in the store. “ I explained that I remembered I was under extreme time pressure and in unbearable pain waiting for store staff to locate the coupon i had given them. She interrupted me with her patronizing response by responding, “Everyone has a personal life” . The whole scene seemed surreal and unbelievable, but yet it was happening. I asked the manager to apologize on my behalf to her employee, yet not even knowing how I had been rude to her employee. So, the manager of Stage Miami won’t have to be concerned about this happening again because I won’t be returning.

To the public, when I called the local Chamber of Commerce they informed me that they had received other complaints about this manager by stating, You aren’t the first person who has complained abput this store.” What a way to reward a paying customer. Miami, Ok merchants wonder why we don’t use local retail stores in Miami.

I can truly say rhat I have NEVER been SO humiliated or berated like this in all of my life. "
