"The stamps.com software and service is excellent. I have also used the alternatives and stamps.com is significantly better. HOWEVER, the customer service is not good. There are good people there but it is consistently bad which usually means it organizational and cultural. The drive to the post office is much more stress free than the prospect of any discussion with their customer service...."

"I purchased a PhotoStamps CD at the USPS Office in Riva, Maryland. Prior to that, I had not seen a product like this, nor did I know such a product existed. I had purchased postage on-line, with stamps.com in the past, but I was not aware of their PhotoStamps product. I had just received a school photo of my 3 year old grandson and I was very excited about creating a US Postage Stamp with his picture.

I took the CD home and started the program to create the PhotoStamps. I experience repeated, technical difficulties, with a vague error message, and became frustrated. I called the customer support line and a gentleman tried to help me with the error, but we could not resolve the problem. He was very thorough & patient with me and gave a suggestion for Internet Options settings. This did not work, either. However, when I tried again, the next day, I was successful with creating an order. The process was smooth & quick and I was very satisfied with my success.

I have received more than just a few emails from PhotoStamps, as a follow-up to keep me informed of the order process and shipping. I am very satisfied with my experience on Stamps.com and I look forward to purchasing more PhotoStamps in the future. It is a unique product and a very novel idea."

"I'm not really to sure how I am going to save money by use this product. I have been trying to find out how it can show the saving. I now it is going to convenent, but how is it saving me money. As much as I can see so far, the stamps cost the same as the post office, here you have to puchase the labels if you want to do it that way. Or you can just print it onto the envelopes, but that still cost ink. Are we getting a discount on the stamps that we produce or what? I wish I could find the answers to that question. I have already looked at the FAQ's and nothing. Can some help me clear this up."
