"On Monday, June 2nd, I contacted supermedia’s customer support (Roxy) concerning status for an order placed May 15th, 2008, and was surprised to find out that the order had been canceled. I received an email May 23rd (show below), indicating that an item was out of stock and was going to be canceled from the order, but it didn’t state that the whole order was being canceled. I told the attendant that I was very upset about not being properly notified about the order cancellation, especially since I required most of the items by Wednesday, June 5th.
This was the email I received on May 23rd.

Long story short, the only resolution suggested by Roxy (the customer support person) was to simply submit a new order with express delivery options. I asked if there could be some type of compensation for the extra delivery costs, she replied that they couldn't do that. I reluctantly placed the order that day, June 2nd, at 12:57pm PDT with 2 day air as instructed by Roxy . I did this with the assurance that the items would be shipped that same day (Monday, June 2nd) and arrive by Wednesday, June 4th.
I just received an email today (Wednesday, June 4th) indicating that the items were shipped Tuesday, June 3rd, which is not the same day they were ordered. The email also indicated that delivery was scheduled to arrive on Thursday. Now I’m a bit more than upset, I’m furious! Not only did I spend extra money for the 2 day air shipping, I’ll now have to find alternative replacements since the items will arrive beyond my need date.
When I received the email indicating delivery on Thursday, I once again called customer support to get some type of reimbursement/compensation for the extra shipment cost (since that was due to supermedia's inability to notify me about the whole order being canceled, along with being deceitful about when items would be shipped). To reiterate, I was told by Roxy that if I resubmitted the order now/today, it would be filled and shipped that day. I happened to reach the same customer support person, Roxy, this second time as well, and she basically called me a liar and would not admit to her recommendations. I told her that upon calling, the opening message states that phone calls are recorded for training purposes. Since I called prior to placing this last order - it should be easily to locate and verify who is being truthful. All she replied with was, I'm sorry.
Not being satisfied with Roxy's response, I asked to speak to her supervisor or manager - whom conveniently was not available. I was routed to voice mail (Tanya, x102) - and left her a return number. Needless to say, I'm still waiting for a return phone call.
