"I called and asked about the internal hard drive that I purchased to find out if the product was going to be an OEM product and was told that it wasn't. To be sure I called again and spoke to a different individual. The second rep. told me that the product was retail and coming from Seagate. Well, I received the product today (That was fast!!) and saw that it was packaged in a small box and thought to myself great OEM!! So I open up the box and sure enough OEM! Just the hard drive and no cables. No where on the website does it state that it is an OEM hard drive. So don't trust the people that you call if you have any questions. They are very nice reps, but they seem to be clueless on what is OEM.

Just got off the phone with them and said that they were going to get back with me and find out why I got what I got. "

"Service was sketchy until I complained. I received an external hard drive case in a used box. When I opened it up only the casing was inside. There was NO POWERCORD, instruction manual or USB cable, as was advertised on the outside of the box and online. This external drive requires a very special powercord and without this cord I have a useless box. When I called to ask them to fix their oversight, I was told it would be mailed to me the next day. YAY!
Two days later, I received this email: "In regards to your inquiry about the power core cable unfortunately per our product department this item was purchased as is, in the detailed description you would see that this is an open box product also Final sale no return allowed." However they also notified "you may check with the manufacturer of the product they may be able to assist you with the item you do not have."
This information did not coincide with the advertising page. This is why people are wary of buying things over the internet.
After complaining,they have emailed me back and fixed the problem. I appreciate it and hope in the future they will address the problem before inconveniencing their customers."
