"Supplement Warehouse is fine if you think their regular prices + shipping are fair. Also they send you emails every couple of weeks with a code good for $2 off, and I have had no problems with their honoring those discounts.
HOWEVER, I believe their Price Match is a scam. The conditions under which they honor it make it almost impossible to get. Today for example I saw that one product in my order was available from Amazon.com for a bit less than the Supplement Warehouse price. I also noticed that there would be no shipping charge on that product from Amazon. So I used Price Match. I got an email from Supplement Warehouse telling me they had denied the price match because Amazon.com is not a "dedicated health food store" (as if they are?), and also that such stores have inflated shipping charges (which in this case, was zero!). I responded to Supplement Warehouse immediately with a complaint to Customer Service, explaining that there was no shipping charge for the competitor. They still did not honor the price match. In the future, I'll order that product from Amazon, and save money on the product and shipping!"
"Not sure why you offer price match - 5%. I ordered Con Crete and Amazon offered it for $30+ and I inserted the information on your site and my price was to be $30.66 and when my product arrived I was charged over $32. It is not the couple dollars but the fact that you falsely advertise. I will not order again from Supplement Warehouse. On top of that I would have received free shipping which you do not offer. I made a mistake in ordering with you and I will not again"
"I would never buy from this company again ever. They accepted my price match on the web but billed me for the original price, they also sent the wrong product. The invoice showed the right products that I ordered however the product that came in the box was incorrect.
I called back to complain they said that they dont honor any price match. I asked why did you accept the price match in the first place and gave me an internet receipt with the reduced price. I was getting nowhere, I asked to speak to a manager, then the agent hung up the phone. BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I WOULD STAY AWAY! I WAS RIPPED OFF, SCAMMED!"
"This is a place to order from if you are ordering weightlifting/body building supplements and the like. If you are looking for general or other specific health supplements, vitamins, minerals etc. don't order from them (unless you don't mind waiting for your order.) They are a supplement warehouse for the body building / weight training sector period. I called and asked where my order was and was told that because of the products I ordered, they had to order them in - as they do not stock all products - that way they can offer fresh dates. Fine, but don't say that you'll ship within 1-2 days (calendar days, not business days) of order placement. I am in WI, and wanted to support WI business, so I placed an order through them - rather than through iHerb or another online place outside of WI. There were products I couldn't get through Supplement Warehouse - so I also ordered on the same date from iHerb - a couple of things only - and I received them 3 days ago - still waiting on my SW order to be shipped. I was told that they have to order from vendors that are sometimes as close to them as 10 minutes away - and others that are 2 hours away - and that they take 48 hours to get them the product or so - maybe longer. So, then they take 1-2 days to ship out after they get your product from their vendors, but it takes them 1-2 days to place the orders with their vendors because the compile a bunch of orders to make up a large enough order to order from that vendor for the products needed for your order. (If you can follow that.)
So - bottom line - I could have walked the 200 miles and picked up my products and back by now - no amount of 'price matching' and freebies can make up for slow service.
Regarding the freebies and price matching. iHerb - same order that I placed through SW - including all the freebies at SW - came out cheaper after I double checked - even having to 'buy' the freebies at iHerb - and I get 1-3 day free shipping - so my lesson here is - while its good to support local economy, its also good to be honest with your potential customers and tell them you don't have stock on items that aren't normally stocked that you have to order in - and that there will be a wait on shipping - then - let them decide - if price makes a difference or if they need their product in a timely manner.
Beware - and know that you will wait - if it is NOT a body building / weight training supplement or product you are ordering - you'll wait - so order your vitamins, and other supplements elsewhere and get the BB/WT stuff at SW.

"Terrible. Do not buy from them. Bought a preworkout and a 5 pound protein blend. Shipped three days later. Got here about a week after I ordered it. Opened box to see protein was not there. Called customer support to see what the deal was. They said they sent me an email (which they did) telling me that they were out of this protein. I then asked if I could get a different type of protein with out shipping cost. They told me there was no way I could do this. Will never buy from them again. "
"Ok where is my story about them they dont have the cheapest price by far.... i priced matched there stuff and found another site XXLMASS.COM and they have way way cheaper prices so the next day i got a email from them saying that they cant match XXLMASS.COM because they have high shipping rates and excess fees and they offer lower prices but really arent. OK im reasonable so i thought ok i logged on to XXLMASS.COM site and placed a order for the exact same on each site.... when it came to shipping XXLMASS.COM was $32.54 and Supplement Warehouse was $18.25 and XXLMASS.COM did have $13.80 charge for packing supplys and boxes and handling so i added up even with the "excess fees" and OH MY .... XXLMASS.COM was still $85.00 cheaper. I emailed my findings to Supplement Warehouse and they said they dont care they dont price match them. So i will never order another thing from them as long as i live they are crooks and lie. If you dont offer prices match then dont offer it! if you dont want to match there price dont say you can. So yes in the past they did get my order right and it was ok service... but they lied about there prices and then they dont want to match them i didnt know when you say you GUARANTEE something to be the cheapest you can put well just not them they do this but again they are cheaper... so dont be fulled by them... check out XXLMASS.COM before you order i bet you will save money!!! dont get took like me "
"I've used Supplement Warehouse for years and have never had any issues with shipping delays, excessive shipping costs or product quality. I've ordered bars, pills and powders and have never received melted purchases.
That being said, I have never had to call customer service and haven't tried to get them to match a competitor's price by the stated 5%.
I will continue to order from them until they prove that they cannot deliver the products I order in a timely fashion and at the quoted prices."
"There prices are good and they did a good job on placing my order. I got two free items with my purchase. not bad, I will continue to buy from them."
"Offers a 5% lowest price guarantee, validates it, sends you a finalized order invoice, then sends you an E-mail stating that strong competitors inflate shipping charges and denies the price match. Then ships items at full retail (in my case nearly 35% more). If you don't contact them to cancel the order immediately, they have you by the short hairs. Stay away... Interesting that other review sites give them 4.7/5 stars? Kidding? They delete every bad review, how unscrupulous price*****er."
"You've gotta love the creative twist to the old BAIT & SWITCH SCAM that the guys over SupplementWarehouse.com have going.
I have a regular supplement that I take and generally order online from a reputable company I've done business with for awhile. This time though I decided to check on the price and ran across the SupplementWarehouse.com website. Their website declares in BIG BOLD letters on the top "Lowest shipped price...guaranteed!" so I thought I'd give them a try. I ordered my supplement which was a little more than I'd been paying before and went through their checkout process where they offered to do a price match. I entered in the required information and voila they "validated" the price and gave me the discount! I enthusiastically completed the checkout, paid for my order, and felt terrific that I found a site that actually seemed like they really did what they claimed! BOY HOW WRONG I WAS!
Later I received an email explaining that my price match was "declined" because the competitor has "excessive" shipping and handling charges. Of course by the time I saw the email the next day SupplementWarehouse.com had already taken it upon themselves to change my order, CHARGE MY CARD THE HIGHER PRICE, and ship out my order ALL WITHOUT MY APPROVAL.
When I complained and asked for the difference to be refunded SupplementWarehouse.com refused and sent me their "policy" apparently buried somewhere in small print on a very long secondary web page. Basically the dozen or so conditions that can result in your "instant price match" being declined is pretty much anything that they can interpret as an EXCUSE for why someone else might be cheaper than them.
So their SCAM seems to be SUCKER people in with the "guarantee" of an "instant price match, APPEAR to give someone a discount in order to get them to order something, WAIT awhile to "verify" the discount you were given, use some "policy" as an EXCUSE to "decline" the discount they supposedly gave you, CHARGE YOU THE HIGHER AMOUNT WHICH YOU DID NOT APPROVE, and then SHIP out your order BEFORE YOU CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
In my case we're fortunately not talking about very much money but I do think that it's important that this kind of UNETHICAL and ILLEGAL business behavior is called out. I plan on contacting groups like the Attorney General, BBB, FTC and probably VISA to alert them about the shady practices of this company but I thought it'd be a good idea to alert the community here as well. Be careful if you decide to try out this company---they seem intent on CHEATING PEOPLE with their PHONY price match SCAM! Beware!!!"
"After reading the reviews on here I shied away from using SupplementWarehouse, but kept them in mind. When I came back to see if their ratings had improved, I found the exact opposite. However, I decided to give them a try because they offered better prices and a more diverse selection. I was also prepared to wait the 2 weeks that everyone else reported.
Although they offered price matching, I found they already had the best price, in fact, there weren't many other companies offering the same brand, potency and size I wanted. I placed my order on a Sunday and received it on the following Friday. I am well pleased.
From my experience and reading the experiences of others, I think it is safe to say that you can't rely on their price matching. The fact that they let you know that your price match was rejected after shipping and charging your account without your authorization is really a poor business model which borders on fraudulent. While they do offer lots of freebies, I didn't elect to get any. I am not surprised that they charge shipping on these items, so that wasn't a point of contention for me. As for the exorbitant shipping prices others have reported, that was not the case for me.
An additional bit of unsavoriness was the fact that immediately upon completion of my order I was invited to review my purchase on another ratings site (not a US site either) with the added incentive of being entered into a monthly drawing. How can I review the site without having received my order? As a result, I saw they had a tremendous rating on that site, with just a few of the negatives which were from the same customers who had posted here. Obviously they are using that site to bolster their reputation disingenuously while not addressing unhappy customers.
I will say this for them, the site seems geared primarily towards fitness supplements. Nothing in my order could be classified in that respect. The items aren't that commonly available, so I would think my experience would be a bit more typical. But, I should mention that all the items were from the same manufacturer, so that may have been a factor.
So, if you don't mind playing a bit of roulette, I say give them a try, just don't expect that price matching gambit to pay off."
"One o the worst experiences I have ever had with a supplement provider. Not only did they match a price but after I bought their product they charged me more then $100 over the quoted price, then my package wasn't shipped for almost a week. And when I told them I didn't want it they tried to
Have me pay the fee to get returned to them."
"terrible experience they took money one week ago and have sent nothing out to me not even an email! i keep calling and they are rude and not helpful. finally they claimed they shipped my order and the tracking number is bogus on fedex.com. there are 42 complaints with this company on BBB. dont waste your time, shop around with a legit site"
"Been ordering supplements from SW for over two years now with no issues and with the best price anywhere! The coupons I get by e-mail are always used- thanks! Your the best SW!
-loyal customer"
"***BE CAREFUL***SUPLEMENT WAREHOUSE IS A SCAM***
I recently placed an order with this company. However, I found the exact same products online less expensive and with less expensive shipping. I put the website on my order, and SW showed the price match (even 5% below), so I place the order.
After placing the order, I received an email stating that the company that I entered, that offered less expensive producst, and less expensive shipping is not considered a "valid competitor" because they offer less quality products and inflated shipping cost.
I emailed SW and told them that the other company offered the EXACT SAME products for less cost, AND offered CHEAPER shipping.
I then received an email back the next day stating that they will not honor lowest price match guaranteed.
However, that email was sent to me exactly 30 mins AFTER I received an email stating that my order was shipped. How convenient...
Later that day, my email account was hacked. Hotmail said someone hacked my account and was sending spam. I had to reset my account and password. Coincidence?
****BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU USE THIS COMPANY****"
