"I had to replace my first generation a Delta kitchen touch faucet control system after having intermittent problems with the electronics or touch sensor system. After talking with the folks at Delta they mentioned that my version of the electronics had been replaced with a newer system. I've upgraded now to the version 3 from version 1 and so far have had no further problems. Wife is very happy too.
New repair unit comes with all the parts and instructions. It only took 5 minutes to change it out. I also like the larger battery system compared to the older design. Now able to use C cells or AA type batteries for longer operational life."
