"I have read many negative emails about this company in the ratings listed on this site. The main problems people have seem to be not paying attention to what they are ordering, or finding their shipments have problems getting there quick enough (at Christmas time!) for what they expected. I understand that there will always be some chance of problems with billing or delivery, you see it at the grocery store or any other place where there is a high volume of business. That does not excuse it, but rather explains some of what you see on these reviews. I think it is pretty obvious when the reviews are either "very dissatisfied" or "very satisfied" that when problems happen they usually don't get fixed all that quick compared to a local store. As someone who has been buying things from the internet before it was the "Web" I have run into this problem a few times. Patience is usually the key ingredient in fixing these problems, hostility tends to fail to get the desired result. Put yourself in their place: if you were running a business, would you rather devote your time to a patient customer who you think will return if you spend that extra time to help them, or a ranting, raving lunatic who jumps from one store to the next getting ticked off at every opportunity. In my business I would not have any customers if I reacted to prblems the way some of you are here.

Now, to my review... I have purchased from this store many times over the past few years, but kind of hesitated to place my order right at Christmas time since I knew EVERY business in America is swamped at this time of year. I went ahead and placed my order and was surprised to find it delivered two days after placing it! UPS didn't even upload the tracking information until after I had the box opened! It is true that sometimes the things I get are not exactly in the best of conditions, but their condition is ALWAYS clear in the description. I used to go to a Sears Outlet store to buy "surplus" items and had the same problem... if you are careful and check things out (as you should with ANY purchase online or off) you will get what you expect. SurplusComputers has many items that they sell for a very good price.

If you want a good deal on new, refurbished or open box items, shop here. If you are careless you may be surprised, but it is your fault for not being aware of what you are buying.

The Nero Suite 6.0(OEM)was a really good price and I have heard that this version is a lot better that the Version 5 that came with my TDK CDRW.
