"I've had a very negative experience with Svetila. I ordered 4 light bulbs from them but unfortunately they sent me the wrong ones. I submitted a request to return them for a full refund on 11/20/15, but on 11/24/15 I still had not heard back from Svetila, so I followed up with them and the next day I received a response claiming they did not receive my return request. I sent them proof of my original return request along with an explanation and evidence that they did not send me the product I ordered. The following day, 11/26/15, Svetila sent me a response which consisted of making an excuse that the product they sent me was an updated one. Half an hour later I emailed them back clarifying that the product they sent me was inferior to what I ordered and reiterated my return request. I did not hear back until 12/3/15 (7 days later!!), when Svetila sent me its return address. I then explicitly requested a prepaid shipping label since it seemed that Svetila expected me to take care of the return shipping on my own. Their response was that the customer pays for return shipping. When I clarified to Svetila that it is they who are responsible for the return shipping since they screwed up my order, they offered to let me keep the bulbs and refund me 50%. I refused this offer as the bulbs were of no use to me and I again requested that they send me a prepaid shipping label. Their next response contained a suggestion that I would pay for the return shipping upfront and that they would refund me after receiving the product. However, this proposition places the burden of upfront payment on on me, the customer, despite the vendor having screwed up my order. It also saddles me with the risk that if something were to happen to the product during the return process, for example if it was lost in transit on its way back to Svetila, that I would lose out on my refund, both for what I paid for the original order AND for my payment for the return shipping with tracking, Thus, I refused this offer and reiterated my request that they send me a prepaid shipping label which I can use to send them back the product they sent me in error in exchange for a full refund. Today is 12/12/15, over 3 weeks since I initiated the return process, and I am still waiting for a prepaid shipping label to ship the product back to Svetila and to receive a full refund."
