"First, this is a repeating problem! Purchased an M7VITPRO motherboard on 6/30/2003. The board stopped responding to Power ON. This has happened on two boards I resold to my customers.
In both cases, when the boards were RMA'd, TCWO sent me someone else's rejects. Sometimes forgetting to even dust off the boards. The first time it took 3 rejects before they finally sent me a working board. If it takes that long this time, the warranty will expire.
On both boards, TCWO sent out replacements which they claimed were "bench tested" before shipping.
In the first case, I know they did not even look at the board as it was VERY deformed (I have pics!) and could not be mounted in my case because it was so deformed.
In the second case the board would not even POST. So, I checked the processor, memory, power supply, and drives. They all performed properly. I think that the biggest part of the problem is the board design. However, I don't think they should be shipping untested returns out as replacements (I even got one back where the previous tech had documented the board's errors in the book which they forgot to check - and the CD's had been run through something which obliterated the data, so I know they did't check the board).
Not impressed. I guess I'll end up purchasing a new board (out of MY pocket) to keep my customer happy. It won't be from TCWO."
"ordered a xp2800 barton could not get it to boot at the right speed after 3 emails and several people not to mention 2 weeks i was never gievn any tech help each person asked the same question in each email . after i told them how i felt the just told me to contact amd. I sent a complaint letter via email and never heard from them. i will never order from them again as i have for several years in the past. Good job at getting rid of a loyal customer. "

"Overall, a very good experience with TCWO. I ordered an Athlon XP 2600+ for a low price and it arrived super quick. The only thing TCWO can do on the product description page was make it more clear whether the processor was the 256KB Cache version or the 512KB Barton. It turns out, I was shipped the Barton, which was fine. To be frank, I didn't care whether it was the 256 or 512 version, but other customers shopping for the same product may have a hard time deciphering on TCWO's product information page."
"I ordered a new set of Logitech Z560s (speakers) from them as they offered free shipping, and they turned out to be a bit cheaper than other stores. I've ordered a few things from them in the past, such as a CD burner/RAM/etc without a single problem.
Great company to do business with, cheap prices and no issues for me yet. My only gripe is that the selection could be a bit bigger, but that's a minor issue."

"Purchased a MSI TV@nywhere Master TV Card. Software for this product is sub standard. This TV Card will not work properly. No Tech support for MSI products. Web search reveals numerous complaints on this product. TCWO wants to charge a restock fee on a defective product. I could see a charge if I didn't like the product but it is DEFECTIVE. For shame on TCWO for not providing a working product. For SHAME for not making good on DEFECTIVE merchandise. You lost a customer forever. I will take my business elsewhere"
"Bought components for six builds this month. EVERY PART worked perfectly and everything was in stock except for two out of eight hard drives. This was remedied to my satisfaction by selling us two more expensive drives for the same price. Kudos! Will do business with again, no doubt!"
"BUYER BEWARE. Thompson now has a LONG history with me of not shipping as ordered. I pay extra for FedEx 3 day and they send it Fedex Ground. I can't continue doing business with them. When I complain and request a refund they tell me that the rate for FedEx 3 day and FedEx ground is the same. NONSENSE!"

"I have bought thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from TCWO over the years and was always more than happy with them. However the one and only time I needed an RMA I had to threaten them with a backcharge to get one. I shipped a motherboard and cpu back with an rma and did not hear anything from tcwo for two weeks. TCWO does not have a way to call a person, you only get a voice mail system. I sent a fax threatening them with a backcharge, and then, and only then I got a call from Alex. He immediately issued an RMA. I ended up ordering replacement parts from Newegg.com. TCWO should drop their 'technical service'. It's a waste of customer time. Good prices, and good shipping times, Just hope you dont need an RMA.

I did finally recieve a new motherboard and cpu. They overnighted it. If TCWO would allow its curomers to talk to a live person I would go back to them.

The saga continues. TCWO now lets you talk to a live person. Jason at TCWO is very very helpful. He has gotten items shipped for me via drop ship and calls me if any problems. I prefer TCWO to New Egg because TCWO will handle warranties whereas New Egg does not. I am now a very satified customer of TCWO. I'll continue buying from them."

Shipping was fast and package was tracked through FedEx.
Good email confirmations.
Order came with a free roll of lifesavers and an additional free gift.
And, my credit card was not charged until after the package arrived.

"I ordered a video card for my computer that I bought all of the parts for from TCWO, the computer worked great, had no complaints, after a while I needed a new video card, so I called TCWO, the sales rep looked at my system and suggested a card that he thought would work for the system, I bought it
After about 2 weeks of downloading drivers and updating BIOS for my mother board the TCWO tech department said my card was incompatible for my motherboard and sent me an RMA number, this is after the sales rep had recommended this card for my motherboard, and I had paid for shipping, and now I had to pay for shipping to have it sent back
All of this could have been avoided if the sales rep was more knowledgeable about the system with all the specs right in front of him
Also, I updated my new shipping address with them and they still sent it to my old address and I had to track it down after many times trying to go to the guys apartment, TCWO was supposed to credit my account for the original shipping, but I have yet to see it, at this point since they have not redeemed themselves by cutting me any future deals nor simply refunding my original shipping, I am forced to write this bad review and probably will not buy any future items from them.

After my grueling month of dealing with costomer service, TCWO has finally redeemed themselves, the customer service agent Alex has been in constant contact with me to help me resolve my issue and more importantly make sure that I am happy.He has refunded my shipping and refunded some money off of the original purchase to make me happy. Thanks guys. Will have to rethink my decision to boycott TCWO because Alex has taken care of me."
