"We have been very pleased with our daughters care at tutor time. Ruth the director is fantastic. We have never had any issues. All of our daughters teachers have been very caring. They are constantly doing fun actives and learning lessons with the kids. The communication has been great. Nothing negative."

"Overall it has been good. I was not happy that we had to pay the application fee in when we joined the waitlist in January as well as an enrollment/renewal fee a couple months after our son started (which was March). It also appears that some of the toys and books need to be updated or replaced, but I appreciate the variety of of the activities that have been offered and the staff are friendly and interactive."

"We love our school! Our son has grown SIGNIFICANTLY in the last 6 months academically and socially... so much so that we were going to enroll him in a young 5s program elsewhere next year, but decided he is ready for Kindergarten! The level of care and education given to him by his teachers is phenomenal. I am greeted DAILY upon drop off, and given a small chat at the end of every day at pickup. You can tell that Mr. A TRULY cares about the education and care that he is giving each member of his class. Miss Paige and Miss Kasey are always up to date on how the day was in the event that we can't get a report from Mr. A. This whole group, front office included, at the Grand Rapids Old 28th St. location have been such a blessing to our family! Thank you for ALL that you do for our son, but also for every child in your care. Your excellence SHINES!"

"When we first started the director that we started with didn't keep the place organized and the toys were very old and dirty. We were hesitate to start at that location because of this, but had no other options with long wait list. Within 6 months of starting, that director had been terminated and a new director stepped in, bought new bedding, toys, and started to make the place appealing. This location is desirable because of the school district and wealth in that district, but competition of other childcare services with very nice facilities are there. I hope to continue to see more updates to the facility along with expansion of services."

"I have had the privilege of sending my youngest son to Tutor Time, not once- but twice. We love the family feel we get there, and how well our teachers have gotten to know and love our son. This school has been such a blessing to us, and we will continue to sing its praises even after we have to leave to go to Elementary school. Mr. A and the team of teachers in Pre-K and Ruth and the office staff have prepared our son for Kindergarten so well that I feel he could go tomorrow and jump right in. This coupled with anyone who relieves the teachers, the lovely woman who makes such healthy food (that my picky eater actually EATS!). Coming from an elementary educator and mom of 3, I'm pretty picky when it comes to who cares for and teaches my kids in my absence. We love it here and thank them sincerely for the love, care, and knowledge that they have given our littlest man! He adores coming to school and seeing his friends and teachers. Your hard work does NOT go unnoticed!

"This center is AMAZING, my child has had many struggles with many other daycares at the young age of 3. Ms Ruth, Mr A. Ms Kasey Ms Paige Ms Beth and all her amazing staff have gone above and beyond on helping my daughter have a better opportunity in her upcoming school life. They have managed to come up with plans and many different ideas that included alot of patience love care detail and consistency amongst the staff. This is not easy to find in a daycare. Other daycares have given up on my child and cared more about profit and then when they saw my child gave them a run for their money, they didn't want to put the work in for my childs needs nor provide the resources she needed, yet those centers considered themselves a school.Tutor time on old 28th will forever have a place in my heart. I know my child was in loving hands when I left and returned. I know my little girl will be a better person because of the incredible people who gave her all they could every day, consistently."

"My baby was not cared for properly, one staff member specifically did not understand babies yet worked almost exclusively with them. After talking to director, she was put in my son's room almost every day, as if it didn't matter. He lost weight because she would not hold his bottle or feed him the foods I brought because he did not like the center's food (horrible menu for babies) Most of the staff either ignored me or were outright hostile. Most (in the toddler and younger rooms) do not understand how to deal with babies/ toddlers and completely ignore all the company policies on how to deal with them. For example, they use scare tactics, say mean things, withhold/ take away food &drink, use timeouts, and don't deal with problem behaviors at all. If parents could see/ heart how their littles are treated, this place would be shut down. It's a horrible place for employees and little ones. "

Very frustrating & hard to develop relationships with them. I would love to see the kids get some more individualized attention as it seems that often it is the troublesome ones that get it. My son had admitted to acting out just to get attention when he feels regularly ignored."
