"The school is very chaotic & unorganized. Our first day our code didn't work, only her teacher knew she was starting, the director forgot to inform any else. I tried to order scholastic's books, but no code was on the paper, when I asked the teachers they said they didn't know and kept asking the director. I ended up having to order them from my daughter's old daycare.Every event or spirit week is sprung upon, with last minute details. Our old daycare did a weekly email on friday to go over everything in the school did that past week and what was coming up. We could always email, I do not have an email for this school. The teachers are okay, they don't seem to be as engaged or worried about the children. If my daughter was late coming to school our old school would call to see if she was okay, always asked how doctors appointments went. The teachers are great about answering my questions through the app, as best as they can. But, multiple questions I've been told to get ahold of the director, which nearly impossible and we don't have an email for her. I just wish there was a little more structure, organization and better way to inform families of events instead of the week or couple days before."
"The director Michelle was greeted by many children when leaving the building. This reflects on her positive personality and openness with families and is clearly an asset to this program. She truly helped me understand Tutor Time and its many programs and procedures. I would like to see Tutor Time have a quick and easy brochure about all scholarships available (corporate partnerships, CCIS, etc.)."
"We had had all positive experiences. The staff is wonderful, the facility is great, and my children have learned a ton. We truly hate to leave."
"Ms. Denise is an awesome teacher in the prek room and totally understands the curriculum and children's needs. Ms. Michelle (director) addresses all concerns immediately and with compassion. She has continued to be a tremendous asset for Tutor Time. She makes sure all concerns are heard and makes people feel like they matter."
"overall disappointed. I was really hoping for well trained teachers and was excited for a curriculum based on the theory of multiple intelligences. It appears the programing is more for show than actual theory based teaching."
"Safe! Staff seem very caring."
"I have an older child that went there ten years ago, and now have enrolled my two younger children. My youngest started at 3 months of age and is now almost 4. We could not think of a better place, I really feel comfortable with the staff. For a little while there was a huge turn over with the director position, but finally Michelle was no longer past over and she has been always bee awesome. I am happy that she is there as director and I hope that she stays in that position for many more years to come."
"My son is flourishing at Tutor Time. This is his 2nd center and I am very happy I switched him to Tutor Time. His teachers genuinely care about him, they are very rarely out of ratio (and when they are, its corrected asap). I'm very happy there is basically no TV time as well since his last center watched 4+ hours a day. The new app for updates is pretty cool too but I find myself spending way too much time seeing what my son is doing while I'm supposed to be working! Kudos to the teachers for switching over so easily."
