Lazy a## customer service rep Natality with a nasty attitude. Sitting on top of a table, no proper greeting. Asked about iphone restocking fee, "I don't know look on the receipt". Get off your lazy a##, pull up your customer's account. Look like accurate information to give to the customer. Walked in the Apple store across, smiling and greeting. This store should be shut down.

Their internet services are lacking! When you call they can never help and expect you to drive to the store.

"Employees are rude and unprepared to help with technical, billing or any simple inquiries. When you ask for a supervisor it only gets worse to the point were they drop the calls because they have zero critucal thinking abilities."

Worse service ever

"The worst service l ever had.
I had Sprint for over 15 years and had to switch to T-Mobile (not by choice of course) and l didn't find Sprint to begin with to have the best service but at least the customer service experience l had with them wasn't that bad.l was hoping that with the merger l will get better reception but wishful thinking, l got a much worse reception and much much worse customer service.
I had been suffering with bad reception in my area, can not call my kids, have dropped calls, can not email or send pictures easily, have to step out of my house during the middle of the winter to be able to place a call and even that didn't work all the time.
I called three times and each time spend more than an hour with a T-Mobile representative (out if the country) and each time l was promised a booster box to better my reception but to no avail, no booster box ever was delivered.
I called many T-Mobile stores in my area trying to find a solution but no one can help except l was told that l need to upgrade my phone to a 5g newer one since l still have only a 3g or 4g (not sure) and by doing that my problem will disappear. The store got me upgraded to another phone and after paying $370 (that was just the difference for the upgrade, l supposedly saved a whopping $1000) and was assured that l will have a much better reception and no more dropped calls. Guess what? The reception was even worse than before and l am having more dropped calls thank before and now l have to, almost every time, step out of my house to ,try, to make a call.
Most deceiving agents (must be commission bases), worst service ever.
Wouldn't recommend it to anyone and wish there was a choice for NO star.

Terrible Reception!

"I switched to T-Mobile from AT&T for my iPhone 6 months ago. AT&T's service coverage was terrible in many of the areas I travel. And I was tired of the "rip-off" of their post-paid plans. T-Mobile offers great Pre-paid plans at great prices with lots of data for streaming.

However, T-Mobile's coverage is even worse than AT&T's coverage! So, after 6 months of weak signals and dropped calls, I decided to move to Verizon. Well, just as AT&T, T-Mobile makes it almost impossible to port your number to your new provider - requiring a special "port your number PIN," which they make it almost impossible to obtain! And... their corporate stores - refuse to help you obtain the "special port PIN!" Just another attempt to try to prevent you from leaving.

Well - I'm now with Verizon - and the service is way, way superior to either AT&T or T-Mobile. Don't waste your time and frustration with the others - just make sure you get the Verizon coverage, whether that's with Verizon, or Straight Talk, or Mint, or whatever - make sure you have the Verizon towers / network - and you will be a happy camper!

Do Not Go With T Mobile

"Was told at signing up with this carrier that I could get I Phone only with higher plan. Then was told I could get it with any plan which is not the case. The android phone I have can't call out at times. And When I called customer service The manager pretty much called me a liar. There is alot more to this Story but bottom line Don't make the Same Mistake that I made Stay Away FROM T MOBILE.."

Internet service

"Beware of t mobile internet it ****!! Ordered it but got no info about my order. Took forever to get my modem so I called them, took 5- long phone calls And I got 3- idiots that told me i didn’t
Need a modem. They said I need a hot spot or another told me I need a SIM card lol they had no
idea what I was talking About so they aren’t ready
for internet service!! Then I got the modem finally lol by then I wanted to cancel my account which took 3- more phone calls took forever to. Cancel my order I am done.

"like talking in a vaccuum. No understanding of anything you can tell them while chating online or by phone. Simply put they are robots pretending to be humans. Now sprint and t-mobile merged you will get the worst of both...yeah"

Learn From My Mistake

"Learn from my mistake, don't get the t-mobile home internet. They said my location qualifies for home internet. I signed up and got the device. It turned out to be extremely slow. We tried every corner of my home, it didn't work. 15 days later; after working with their support, I agreed and canceled the account. Since then I get call every day stating that I owe them money when I call customer service it goes to Philippines and they all tell me I don't owe them anything. Until I get a call from collections agency. Their customer service is so frustrating and no one knows what is going on. Don't make the same mistake I made, stay away from t-mobile home internet. "

Scam

"Had to cancel my Sprint because I was roaming in Canada after T mobile bought Sprint. I had the service for 18 months before merger.

I had a prepaid plan and was forced to pay an additional month 8 months after canceled plan as they put my account to collections. They should have disconnected the service for late payment.

I don’t recommend this company.

They'll Ruin Your Credit! Do Not Use!!

"Do Not Use TMobile! They sent a bill that they never informed me of to collections after closing my account so I couldn't see it online either. Google it. They do this to their clients and were reported for it a lot in 2015-2016. Your credit will be screwed up over 100 points for bills that are close to nothing."

Auto-Pay Pulled $490!!!

"My fiance became a customer in December 2020, and by the end of January 2021, he moved out in order to do a complete home remodel.

He paid for 4 months of service even though no internet was used. (Approximately $200+)

Once he moved back in, the less-than-6-month old router wouldn't connect for service. We contacted customer service, and the agent sent us a new router immediately.

I asked what to do with the other router, but since it was defective, she didn't think it would need to be sent back...BUT...watch for an email just in case.

Nearly 2 months passed (no email), so the router was discarded (by us).

The only email we received was to tell us we were going to get charged $490 for not returning the old equipment.

(It gets worse.)

I'm on my THIRD phone call to T-Mobile to find resolution. (Mind you, these take approximately 2 hours each.)

Long story short, they were going to pause the auto-withdrawal of $490 so they could review the audio recordings of the phone calls and then call me within 7 days to let me know of their findings.

Anyway, they haven't done ANYTHING they have promised, and on top of that, pulled the $490 payment from our checking account the DAY BEFORE we leave for Mexico, so...

I feel I should not only get the $490 equipment fee refunded, but now after all of this, the $225 we paid in order to "do the right thing" during the home remodel.

I do not recommend T-Mobile. Not worth a free phone!

"My advice is: DON'T GO WITH T-MOBILE! Go with literally ANY other company. It's NOT worth the free iPhone -- trust me! They will cheat you when you try to move to another company, and get collection agencies after you for a bill that you never should have been charged. I have never had a late or missed payment in my life, and now I'm getting threatening letters about a bill I never should have been charged. After 2 years with T-Mobile, I called TWICE to cancel, both times to make sure I had done everything I needed to do and there would be no more charges. I was immediately locked out of my account and could not make sure the autopay was turned off. I was assured that everything was cancelled and there would be no more charges. A month later I get a bill for another month's payment. Their customer service is HORRIBLE -- just read the reviews! I was a perfect customer for over 2 years, paying every bill on time and in full. And at the end they try to gouge you in the most despicable way, and customer service representatives (whom you can barely understand) treat you like dirt. I was hung up on twice when I was trying to explain what had happened. They don't care -- they are thousands of miles away; why would they care? Just trust me, anyone who is trying to find out if T-Mobile is worth the free iPhone --IT REALLY IS NOT. They are awful!"

tmobile WORST Cell Service Ever RUN

"Tmobile experts my left toenail. 3rd time not a charm. THEY LIE. Say "free" to close the deal then you get a $275 bill for the "free" equipment. Billing wrong and over charged EVERY single month. Hours on the phone twice a month to correct. I was told it was corrected and here comes another outrageous bill for products and services that I never ordered or received. Don't Don't Don't fall for it. They are horrible!! Hidden charges??? You bet in spades. All three experiences with them over 10 years exactly the same. Oh! And let's not talk about their 5g network that drops calls and crashes your phone internet. They are "expert" rip-offs and liars. Straight Talk. No issues and very affordable and fabulous customer service. No taxes, hidden fees, wrong billing, hours on the phone with dummies, dropped calls and service coverage better than anyone else that I've used. 83% of reviews are bad. Go figure. Have an awesome day ya'all!!!

Fraudulent Charges

"For anyone considering getting service from this carrier please read. I signed up for service with this company after reviewing their coverage map and confirming coverage in my area. I was really excited to get such an affordable plan and new iPhones. I received my new phones and activated the service, turns out the service in my area was not good and I barely had any, calls were dropped and I was lucky to get 1 bar. I reviewed their coverage map again and found in the fine print that coverage in my area was best if I’m outside. I live in MN, it’s freezing here in the winter. I called the customer service line on 7/28/20 and told them I wanted to cancel service per the 14 day cancellation and return agreement. I could barely hear the person I spoke to because the service was so bad. He tried to tell me that I would be responsible for the full bill in August even though I couldn’t even use the phone’s because the service was that bad. I said your coverage maps are misleading and that I would pay $20 for the last 2 weeks in July that were in the billing cycle and he agreed. I sent in the 3 phones I got with the service and received a refund for the activation fee. Fast forward to September, I see a charge on my credit card. I started a chat convo and told them that I canceled the account on 7/28 and they debited my card in error. They were sorry, blah, blah and said they would cancel the account and refund my card. Fast forward to October and you guessed it they charged my card again. I again chatted with them on 10/12/20 and at this point I’m pretty ticked because I don’t have money to spare during this pandemic and again they are sorry, blah blah, agree to refund me $280 plus the $20 I paid for July’s service. They said the account would be canceled and I would get the refund in 3 days (I have a screenshot of the chat convo for this) it’s now 10/25/20 and I still don’t have a refund. I attempt to chat and they tell me to call so now I’m **** because I want this in writing because the first time I tried to cancel the account I called and they never canceled it and I don’t have proof. So what can I do other than call? I spoke to a guy named Paul that said he saw the account was canceled and a refund should be issued on 11/11/20 but puts me on hold to speak to his boss. He comes back on the phone and tells me I’ll receive a gift card 30 days from now for $280, not $300 which is what I was originally told. (See pic). Now I’m 10x more upset bc this dude is super condescending and I asked why I wouldn’t get the $ put back on my card and he gives me some BS so I tell him I called on 7/28 to get the account canceled to which he says that I only ported the numbers and didn’t cancel the account at that time (even though I already received a refund for the activation fee) I have screenshots of all the convos but of course when it gets into fraudulent charges territory you have to call and have no proof and considering how this has went down I’m not too confident in their recordings being released without legal action.
Please keep this in mind if you decide to switch to T-Mobile. Thanks for reading.
