"Add me to the list of people scammed by these lowlifes.
Card charged for an in-stock item. Three weeks later, no product, no replys to e-mails, and I'm out $108.
I have complaints filed with BBB and Attorney Generals Offcie. In process of disputing the charge on my credit card.
Stay away"
"Wish I would have seen this site first. Every bad experience here matches what I've been through. They don't deliver and then they don't credit after cancellation. I am utterly amazed that some people actually got email responses back from techsavings. I have gotten nothing. I will NEVER buy from them again. And even if I had a good experience, the sheer amount of negative comments would lead me to never buy again. I am pursuing official complaints against them. I urge others to do so too."
"On Saturday, May 3rd, I ordered a ViewSonic E70-8 Color Monitor.
On May 5th, my credit card was billed.
On May 8th, I still hadn't received a shipment notice, so I sent an e-mail asking if the monitor was on backorder. I received a reply stating that my order had been processed and sent to their warehouse, my package would ship shortly, and my tracking number would be sent to me automatically via e-mail. They said their warehouses were experiencing temporary shipping delays.
On May 13th, I sent another e-mail asking for an estimated ship date, and received no reply.
My credit card bill (including the monitor charge) arrived, but I had no word on the shipment status as of May 23rd despite several e-mails to all the addresses I could find on their site (I even faxed copies of the e-mails to their fax numbers). Their website offers no voice telephone number, and the numbers I found online and on my credit card statement (EMS Computing) simply have recordings stating that they only work through e-mail.
On May 24th, I sent them an e-mail requesting that they cancel my order. On May 27th, they sent me a reply confirming that they cancelled my order.
As of June 7th, my account page on their website still says "Processing credit request" for the refund for the monitor that they never shipped and probably never had. They say that the credit usually takes 5-10 business days to complete.
On June 11th, it looks like I'll be calling MasterCard to dispute the charges."
"A bunch of crooks. I am trying to get my money back via legal authorities. "
"I placed an order from TECHSAVINGS.COM for the linksys adapter on may 5, 2003 and received quick conformation for the order. My credit card was processing the order quickly and according to the order it was being processed and shipped. After almost 2 weeks of waiting still no package. I tried to call the company but wasn't able to find a phone number off the website other than a fax number. I called my creit card company and got the order credited from my acct but they still needed to find out why they haven't shipped the order. That took another 2 weeks. I finally sent them an email which turns out to be another company and not techsavings.com. It stated the following:

They state to feel free to contact their office apparently its not possible since they never added their number or placed it on their website. Thus, telling me that they don't want to be contacted.
After that email I waited over a week. I sent them yet another email.

Now here is great customer service, "Thank you for
choosing EMS Computing!"
I suppose they really needed to place the exclamation point there to tell me to please quit pestering us. Mildly put on my part of course.
It is now June 5, 2003 and I still have not received the product. This is the worst online company or scam company, I have ever dealt with. I have ordered online before and never had a problem until now. MY ADVICE TO ALL, AS OTHERS HAVE STATED: DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY DON'T CARE, WON'T SHIP AND PREPARE TO RECEIVE THE EMAIL OF "Thank you for contacting EMS Computing regarding your order. Your order has processed and should be shipping very soon. We apologize for the shipping delay. Due to some recent upgrades to better serve our customers, our shipping has slowed." This is the worst experience I've had with online ordering. Hence, I wish I knew about resellerratings.com before this order. At least now this website can make shopping online a better experience."
"Same bad story as everyone else. Ordered 802.11b Wireless card on 4/22/03. After a week and no shipping notice, called TechSavings and was told of problems with shipping and "promised" that it would be prioritized at supervisor level. Still by 5/5/03 no product so I cancelled over phone.
Received immediate email confirmation notice of cancellation but as of yesterday(5-30-03) my
Visa account has yet to be credited. Call to Visa Customer Svc. and was informed that vendor has 30 days from order cancellation to submit credit...so I have to wait till 6/5. After that, will file dispute and notify Attny. Gen of State of FL. and BBB as others have. This is the first and ONLY online PC hardware vendor in over 4 years of Internet ordering that something like this has happened. My lesson: NEVER go with lowest vendor on Pricewatch unless you know their
reputable. Lesson #2: ALWAYS chck. ResellerRatings first!
Thar."
"Ordered two items on March 30th. Called to make sure items were in stock. Charged Credit Card the next day. Talked to Customer Service on April 15th. They said items would be sent out immediately. Talked to Customer Service on April 18th, they said the item was not in stock. I cancelled the order and they said it would take 5 to 7 days to credit my credit card. 10 days passed and no credit. They never answered emails and never credited the account, and shortly thereafter took their customer service phone number off the web site. I contacted my credit card and disputed the charge and they credited my account. I contacted Price Watch and told them about this Company and made a formal complaint, and wanted it removed from their shopping service. They responded and hopefully they have been removed. EMS Computing is also the same company in Gainesville, FL.
If you have already ordered from Tech Savings or EMS computing I suggest you Cancel your order and contact your credit card company immediately and dispute the charge. They will not credit your account. Tech Savings told Price Watch via email that they were sending me a refund check immediately after I complained to them. It has been 3 weeks since and no check. "
"We ordered april 8, cancelled may 14 after our product had been on back order for over a month with no sign of any kind of resolution. The website had no links of any kind related to cancelling an order, and we were only able to cancel by laboriously figuring out who to email. Between the time we ordered and cancelled, the company became unreachable by phone and deleted their phone numbers from their site. Now, two weeks after having cancelled, our order is "credit request pending" and we have no way to reach the company or get further satisfaction in any way. Luckily, our credit card has a service to credit our account and dispute the charges with the company at fault with no further action by us, so we turned out alright, but I would never order with this company again. In fact, they seem to be more a scam than an actual company. Perhaps reporting them to the better business bureau would be an option?"
"I got in a similar jam as jluniewski, and I just wanted to warn everybody that they have now changed names again, they are now http://www.etw.com/ eTechWarehouse. I didn't loose too much money but enough to hurt me quite a bit. Does anyone know where to report these people?"
"I have placed an order with techsavings.com on 4/16/03. Right away Techsavings.com has charged my credit card for the amount of $269.93 before shipping the goods. After I have placed the order I have waited for about 12 days but the goods were not shipped (order pending). At that time (April 28, 2003) I was able to contact the customer service via telephone, at that time the company was still listing their customer services telephone numbers. I have asked for the order to be cancelled since it took such a long time to receive the order. On April 29, 2003 I have received an email from techsavings.com confirming that the order has been canceled. On May 10, 2003 I have received an email stating that my credit card account has been credited for the full amount of $269.93. Today is May 27, 2003 and my credit card account still has not been credited. I have send emails, faxes to techsavings.com with regard to this issue but I have not heard from them. The company does not list their phone number any longer. I have been shopping on-line for a long time but this company is the worst I have ever dealt with.
People who got scammed like me should report these thieves to BBB http://www.orlando.bbb.org), www.ifccfbi.gov and to your credit card company, if you lost money."
"FYI TechSaving.com IS THE SAME COMPANY as EMS Computing (check the name on your credit card bill). SAME COMPANY . SAME CROOKS. SEE THE MORE THAN 500 customer reviews for EMS Computing.........Then, don't buy here again."
"Placed my order on 5/3/03 and still no tracking number for shipment. They don't respond to my emails. Their phone number doesn't work which everybody knows by now. I didn't check any reviews before placing my order which I will always do now. I ordered the logitech z-680 speaker set. If anybody knows a number to reach them at please send it to me at ****@**** "
"This compnay is the same as etech, they are both a TOTAL SCAM, after having cancelled my order from tech i ordered from them but they have the same rhetoric - such as high priority shipping after the 2nd call and so on ... Basically do not buy from this company it is a total scam. I'm fillng complaints to both companies with the BBB of FL ETECH Warehouse, Tech Savings, and EMS Computing SAME PEOPLE TOTAL SCAM"
"I ordered a Linksys BefSX41 Firewall/Router from Techsavings on 05/12/03. My credit card was billed on the 13th. I became concerned when Friday May 16 my order was still "Processing". I became even more alarmed when I did not find a customer service # and my e-mail sent at 7am was not replied to by 3pm. I found some additional phone numbers on BBB's website under their other company name (they have 3) lowestpricetech.com / emscomputing.com. To my amazement, Someone answered the phone. They assured me that it would be shipped that day, tracking #'s on Sat. or Mon. Still nothing monday. I called again - no answer. Tried another # (companies buy a block of #'s for phone ext. - ie. -1701, -1702 ect.) Lady said it was sent to warehouse for picking. Finally Got Product on Wednesday May 21st.
Great price, poor customer service (unless you discover their phone #'s), slow to ship. Additional note, My product came from IngramMicro in millington, TN - it appears that this co. doesn't have any stock, they are a "solution provider" for other co's.
Also, it appears that the address on website is for MailBoxes Ect.
Be careful.

"This company is a TOTAL SCAM. Do NOT order anything from them. They will rip you off.
I ordered something about two weeks ago. They have NO PHONE LINES anymore and they don't answer emails regarding your order. ORDER FROM SOMEONE ELSE."
