"This was the worst experience that we have ever had. My son ordered a subwoofer among some other things back in May. The subwoofer blew immediately after it was installed by Car Toys. First they said it would be covered by warranty and a new one would come from Alpine as long as I sent it back. Turns out they are not a authorized reseller. They then said they would send me a new one if I got certain paperwork from Car Toys to which I faxed to them that same day. Have been told numerous times since then that they would send us a new one. They even took my credit card information down because they would only do it if we paid shipping. Now they will not return our phone calls. All for a $70 subwoofer."

I ordered a full JL Audio system from Techronics on 4/4, by 4/6 everything shipped and UPS showed up on 4/10. I even had to deal with the customer service/sales department because my credit card thought it was a fraudulent charge and declined the order. I got a quick call from Techronics, got a hold of my bank and we were in business.

"First order with Techronics, but they showed BBB and Pricegrabber "accreditation" and the price was very good. Shipping was reasonable. They did add a $2.95 handling charge at the last step before you submit the order. Ordered a JBL 2-channel marine amplifier. They described their shipping progam as "We have located our distribution network throughout the United States to expedite delivery times to our customers." and "Orders placed on a Friday after 10:00 a.m. PST will be shipped the Monday following the date the order was placed." I placed my order on a Thursday, before 9:00 a.m. central time. I requested the standard shipping. The following Tuesday I logged on to my account and found the order pending. The amp still showed in stock on the site so I entered an inquiry about when the order would ship. Received an email in the evening that it would ship the next day. Replied to that email on Thursday to ask again about the order status (site still said pending and in stock). Eight days after order is placed (5 working days ?) amplifier is in LA UPS center. Price is still competitive even with shipping AND handling charges, but the wait continues to be unacceptable for an in stock item."
