Fraudulent company! Stealing money from my account!

"I purchased some EarPods for 5.95 and they said it would be delivered within 7 business days but 7 weeks later after I complained they sent me my EarPods that I’m sending back because not only did they charge me 5.95 cents but they charged me 89.95 which was taken from my account ! I did not authorize this nor do I approve of what they did. This company needs to be shut down! I’m so angry I will not stop until this company pays for what they’ve done!"

Stay away from techstore.co.uk

Their telephone manner is rude and abysmal, they don't reply to emails and they don't call you back (despite promising)

I paid for an item that they advertised as available, but it turned out to be out of stock. So I asked for the order to be cancelled. They cancelled the order but wouldn't give me a refund!! I had to argue for 2 days... eventually they put me through to a 'director'. He then refunded after I had to kiss his ar5e.

Stay away... this company should be investigated for it's bad practices and culture.

"Worst customer service ever!!!!
I ordered a camera on 20 November 2007 and the website said it would take 1 week to deliver and 3 weeks later no camera. I phoned up Techstore and they said they had no cameras in stock, they said it was false information on the website. They promised it would arrived before Christmas but still no camera by January. I cancelled the order and changed it to another camera they said they did have in stock, but again no camera called back and they said they did have any in stock :( I finally gave up and cancelled the order and paid 2 pounds more to get the camera in 2 days from Kodak. This wasn't the end though, in trying the get my money back there was blank assistant after the next. They only gave me back £18 of £80 and said they will send the rest within 2 days. 2 weeks later no money. Iv called back 4 times since then and ever assistant has tried to get me off the phone and not cared what my problem was and I still do not have my money back.

All in all worst company iv ever dealt with, worth paying 2 pounds more to get a camera and no hassle. My suggestion BUY ELSEWHERE!

"I ordered a case for a TomTom One, especially from Techstore as it clearly showed a case for the Original. After four weeks of showing on their web site that the case was out of stock and would be available the following week it was despatched to me. The case was for the next generation TomTom One and of no use, I returned this item in December following their process to the letter, I have received no refund.

I have contacted their customer service department on ten occasions be e-mail, most of which are ignored!

I have, when I have been sent a response been promised a refund in the next couple of weeks on two separate occasions over the last three months.

To date I have received no refund. I e-mailed their customer service team on Tuesday 10 April and again my e-mail has been ignored!

"My order was processed promptly, unfortunately when the parcel arrived it did not contain the item I ordered. I emailed without response so I phoned and was told to send the item back recorded delivery and they would refund the original cost and the return postage. Several weeks later when my credit card statement made it clear that there was no refund I emailed again, several times, all without any response. I am now taking the matter to my credit card company and the Trading Standards Office."

"This item (case cooling fans) was listed as "in stock" with 4-day ground delivery. I ordered it on Jan 4. After two weeks of non-delivery I began enquiries with TechStore's custormer service dept. I received different reasons for the delay, but was assured that delivery was expected "within a few days." It never came. I finally canceled the order on Feb 28. It is now March 26 and I have not received a credit on my Visa card. I have e-mailed several times to ask for a credit. This is the worst customer service I have experienced in shopping anywhere, internet or otherwise."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I placed an order for in stock items on 2/25. Their FAQ stats that orders should be shipped in 24 to 48 hours and that your credit card will not be charged until the order is shipped. My credit card was charged on 2/28 and the order still has not shipped (as of 3/10). One email requesting status and two emails requesting the order be cancelled have gone unanswered. I placed orders in the past, the last one a year ago, and everything went fine. Makes me wonder if the company is going under."

"I ordered two sidewinder gamevoices from them on Dec 19 that showed in stock, my credit card was charged immediatly. I didn't hear anything from for 5 days. So I began e-mailing them and calling them. They sent me an e-mail saying the order would go out next week. A week later no package. I started calling a e-mailing again and never got a response until 2 days before the thing arrived saying they had system problems. Overall it took over 30 days to get these damn things. They are liars and you can't ever get ahold of anyone on thier phones. I called over 30 times in 3 days. In the end the items came from an associated store closer to me. Don't deal with this company at all, ever, period! Sorry I didn't post sooner to warn you all."

"Back in March,17 2002 i ordered 2 video cards and the service seemed very good,recieved my purchase
very quick.Then the next order i made in Jan,17 2003, i got nothing, i have been waiting for a month for my order. Called several times and left
messages on there voice mail,got no return calls.
i emailed all there email box's several times and all i get is:
We want to thank you for your patience.We thought we were able to ship your order(s) out last week. We apologize that we were not able to ship you
order. We have started shipping again and plan to ship all order before end of week.
3weeks later after i emailed them again theysaid:
We are still having systems issues. We had hoped to have shipped your order by now but have been unable to do so. We anticipate to ship your order within 7 business days.
End of 7 business days I still have nothing !!!

This whole time i been checking online and watching there online stock of the item go up and
down.
I just don't understand why they don't ship my stuff, all the while my items have been in stock
the whole time ???
To this day my order still only say's approved,
I'm realy getting tired of this run-around.
I will never buy from them again!
Well after waiting for almost 2 months,i couldn't
take it anymore,i canceled my order.After this
I ordered the same thing from another merchant and after 1 day the items are allready in the mail.

"I order a LogiTech IO Pen from this reseller because thier website indicated that it was in stock and would be shipped immediately. It is now 19 days later, my order has not shipped, and I cannot get through to a human being at the company. On the phone, I went through a series of choices to end up at Order Issues - the automated response was: “The Voice Mail Box for the person that you called is filled. Please call again later.” And then the phone was promptly disconnected."

"I placed my order on Dec. 18th and my credit card was charged on the 18th also. I received my order which they claimed was in stock in 1 month. Prices were great but don't order if your in a hurry, because they like to use your money for a while. When you try to contact them you will get the run around if you can reach them. I was only able to reach them by phone once. They will e-mail you, but there excuses get old. They will tell you that they had an overload of orders but yours is next, or that there system went down and that they will have to process your order manually but yours is next. In the last e-mail they did apologize and refunded half of the shipping cost. Why all the run around I"m a big boy just tell me the truth."

"I have had multiple good experiences with this vendor in the past, but won't shop there again.

I Ordered two MSI K7D Master L motherboards. Credit card was accepted and charged. Website showed items in stock. A week later they still had not shipped. I got the "glitch in the system" routine and a message that they would ship within 7 days. A week later, still no change. One response to multiple e-mails and phone calls stated that they would ship within 2-7 days.

I finally cancelled the order. I know they were getting the e-mails because my e-mail requesting a cancel was done within 24 hours.

Never could get anyone on the phone despite the "Leave a message and we will call you back within 24 hours."

"I placed an order on December 7th 2002. My order was accepted and my credit card was charged the full price on December 8th. The order was not processed, and the order status remained approved. No one contacted me to indicated there was a problem with the order. I called many times and got voicemail. After 9 days I finally got a response to my emails stating that there were so many orders that mine had been delayed. They assured me the order would be shipped in a day or two.
Well that did not happen, so I called them at least 50 times until a human took my call. They could not explain why my order had not been shipped even thoough my credit card was charged 2 weeks earlier. They said "we'll ship it in a day or two" - I am now taking legal action against this company for credit card fraud.
