We wanted a full service phone system, but were not willing to take on the complicated systems I had read about on the net and frankly could not afford the 5 figure systems that were out there. My partner found the XBlue system on Amazon. When I asked Telco about the pricing difference they mentioned the phone on Amazon did not include the "box" - Telco was less expensive for the "package" and came with real service.

Speaking of service - the phone system was ordered and received two days later (three days promised). There was no shipping charge. Tom Grinde spoke with me for over a half hour, patiently addressing my questions. I had to call about two small issues - neither an issue with the system. Service AND price! The two words a small business owner loves to hear.

The instructions were simple and easy to understand. I told my partner, either these are the easiest instructions I have ever read, or the first time I have ever taken the time to actually read the instructions. He said probably a bit of both.

Our system is installed, with no high priced consultants. Telco pre-programmed many of the features such as day and night time parameters. We did the rest ourselves - and I was never able to learn how to program my VHS (dating myself). The online video tutorials were a great help - we had each of our staff listen to them.

If this sounds like I am a Telco representative - I am not. I offered to write this and they gave me this site. I have also offered myself as a reference - this system is that good, like getting champagne at a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer price.

Lastly, when I described the system to phone installation contractor, he said if it works please call me since he has had numerous customers who want the features of the XBlue system, but won't or can't afford to take on the $10,000 and up systems. I have called him.
