"I bought my Weller soldering setup from Tequipment and was happy with the experience. Recently I needed micro fine soldering tips for that WTP 90 Weller wand and ordered the wrong tips and they didn't fit. They called Weller and finally got in touch with someone who corrected the model of tips and I ordered the correct XNT tips so hopefully they fit. Bob chatted with me over the phone and was extremely pleasant and polite and spoke with no Asian accent, which is appreciated. Only 4 stars because the Kester soldering wire was $115.00. That's just for a small spool of fine wire. Talk about price gouging for wire. Would have been five stars if that spool was no more than $50.00 and even that makes me shake my head wondering why a spool of soldering wire is not less than $10.00! Once we figured out the correct tip type they just refunded my money because the tips were only $4.00 a piece and no need to pay to ship those back which I appreciate. Lastly, Weller has outsourced almost all of their production to Mexico. The Soldering station and the tips both read "Made in Mexico" on them. Nothing worse than outsourcing in the world today. It kills quality and makes just a few people in the company rich while ignoring US citizens who need work to support themselves and their families. Weller is greedy and put their Germans out of work to buy bigger yachts!"
