"I called to order two meters. I previously was sent the wrong meter a year ago, so I was very specific about what I needed. When they arrived they were not what I asked for. I sent them back for refund, but now I have paid for shipping twice. I reordered the meters, and expressed that I needed them as soon as I could get them. When they had not shipped in three days, I called only to find out they were backordered. My customer found them from another supplier and bought the meters from them."

“Mr. T
I am Brian, the person who called you to update you on the order. I cannot speak to what happened a year ago but the interactions surrounding the recent order I was involved. We are sorry we were not able to get you the units that you needed in the time frame that you needed them. There was confusion on what item you needed to receive. On the 5th of September when you placed the order for the EP-10 the agent understood that you wanted to reorder the meters (EP-10) you got a year prior. That was our mistake for not confirming what you received and wanted. We did complete a refund of the full amount of the order including shipping. When you and I spoke on the 12th of September the conversation was focused on the replacement order for the EP-11. I was able to locate a more affordable M6 model that would meet your customer's needs. During that conversation I expressed that neither the EP-11 or the M6 were available for immediate delivery. At that time we both were unaware your customer was able to obtain them from another source. On the 19th your order was canceled at your request without and money being collected. You should not have any charges from us for this order either. Again we are sorry we were not able to get this for your customer in the timeline you wanted. We hope we can have another opportunity to gain your trust.

What's going on?

"They sent me an invoice saying I was past due when I clearly paid using a credit card. They had more pre-authorization charges on my credit card then I agree to on their website. I emailed them to correct my shipping address and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. I think I'll take my chances with a different vendor next time."

“My name is Brian, I wanted to share what transpired with your order. For starters, we are sorry for the confusion and hope that this will help clarify what took place. We do not charge for an order until the items ship. Your order was set to ship partial causing the system to first do a preauthorization of the entire order. $1074.88. The first item to ship was the $315.10 unit which was charged. The remaining amount of $759.78 would be charged after the remaining items shipped. When the second item shipped on 9-5-19 it changed from a preauthorization to a charge for $731.40 (pending) and a remaining balance of the $28.38 that was a pending preauthorization. For an unknown reason the system identified your order as complete and invoiced it without shipping the remaining item. After reviewing this we do not have a reason the order did not post the last item for release and closed. This triggered our accounting team to see an invoice that was not processed. A little further investigation on our behalf would have eliminated the need for the original email we sent. We have processed an order for the remaining item to get this to you. We will not be collecting any money for this item as a thank you for the opportunity to identify an anomaly in our system and an apology for the confusion with the order.”
