"SCAM!!!! What a bunch of filthy liars and a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. They sent me an email stating they had to verify my information (there was no information to verify, it was correct). When I called they were very nice, he asked me my address and then attempted to UPSELL WAY OVERPRICED ACCESSORIES. When I told him I already had the accessories because this was an upgrade from a previous model, they immediately sent me an email stating “This item no longer available”. They are not in the business of selling cameras. They are in the business of BAIT & SWITCH. They are only interested in selling you REDICULOUSLY PRICED ACCESSORIES."
"I was given the blessing of my wife to go ahead and order my fathers day gift. I have been wanting a Nikon D300 for a while and jumped at the oportunity. I thought that I had found a really great deal at "The Camera Professionals".com Their site was easy to navigate and informative. It also stated that the product was in stock with free shipping. I placed the order and gave all my personal info and credit card#. When I printed the order confirmation I started to get uncomfortable. There wasn't any company logo or information on the reciept. I thought that this was strange. Then I get an email from the company:

So I immediately call and get placed on hold. I am transfered twice while trying to confirm my order. When they were finally able to pull up my order I was informed that I did not order a battery or charger. I questioned this because the last camera I bought (Nikon d100) came with both. He stated that "the reason the camera is at such a good price is that your getting the body only." I started to question him further when he abruptly informed me that the camera was out of stock. I said in that case I want to cancell my order. He rudely told me "Fine! We have not placed your order yet anyhow." Then he hung up on me. I immediately started researching thier company. A little too late I know. I found this site from a link in Dpreview.com. After reading a few of the reviews I called my credit card company and changed my card number.
Save yourself some time and grief and don't order anything from them!!!

"If you are a civilized person, please don't play any order on this website, because they are barbarians. When I called them to confirm the credit card info, they spoke out my whole name very loudly in a very funny way. It seemed to me they really enjoy laughing at my name. Besides, you can't hear them at all because the backgroud was so noisy and they have very strong accent. Finally, they told me the product I ordered is not existing. How can they put a non-existing product on their website for sale? This is not a respectable game in a civilized sociaty."
"I called The Camera Professionals today, May 27, as requested in their email. It seemed strange to me to have to do so after providing my credit card info, name and address, etc. My call was answered three times and I was transferred to a "sales rep." after each answer. The net result was being placed on hold for a total of thirty minutes. When I finally got through to a "sales rep.", he tried to sell me a two year warranty package on a Panasonic DVD player for $49. When I asked if Panasonic had a warranty for their product, he stated the product did not have a warranty. After I refused his sales pitch, he impolitely huffed that the product would be shipped and hung up. No reference was made to a tracking number or any such shipping info. I will try again tomorrow, and if I cannot get satisfaction, will cancel both the order and my credit card so these crooks can't use it. Please, anyone, do not order anything from these people!"
"I had a horrible experience with these guys. I'm convinced that good reviews of this "store" were written by TheCameraProfessionals themselves. I'm sorry I didn't check BBB first - they have an extremely bad rating!
After I ordered a new video camera from their website, I received an email from them saying I had to call to verify my order. When I called, they told me the new camera didn't come with a battery or power cable. (?!!!) I thought the guy was confused, but then he confused me by pressing me into buying a battery and charger. When I received the product, it was in a beat up, opened box, with open software. A stock battery was attached, and an AC power adapter loosely thrown in the box. The camera already had videos on it. (They were filmed by an IT department of a production company in the Durham, NC area... Was your HD video camera stolen in April 2008?) I sent the camera back to these guys. They had the gall to try charge me a restocking fee! I promptly disputed the charge with my bank. I wanted a new camera, which they billed me for. I got an old, used one instead. The amount I was billed was nearly twice what was on the internet order receipt.
In the past few days, affiliates of TheCameraPros have attempted unauthorized charges to my card in several cities, amounting to thousands of dollars. My bank was quick to notify me, and I am contacting the police and FBI regarding the crimes this company is committing.
I wonder if they are buying products with stolen credit card numbers, then selling them to consumers through their websites?
My lesson - check a variety of independent online reviews first!!! Anyone can post anything to the web and make it look legitimate.

"Thank GOD!
I was attracted by their cheap price on web and was about to place the order online today. Some ques came to my mind and I called them up to enquire about the product and accessiories. They guy on other side was so rude and when i asked ques he immediatley hung up the phone. I called again and he did the same again. I was wondering howcome one sales/customer service be so rude in such a competitive market. This lead me get connected to Google and search for review or customer feedback and I landed on this page. I am lucky that I didn't place my order.
Thank you all for your genuine feedback and I do agree with this."
"I wish I would have read the reviews on this company prior to placing an order. When I called to "confirm the order" they tried to sell me a $500 battery and charger that sell for less than $100 elsewhere. Not to mention the fact that the camera should ship with these items. I told them I did not want these items and my order is now on backorder, indifinitely. After reading the reviews here, I cancelled my order (by e-mail since they never take you off hold in customer service) and promptly cancelled my credit card. They have a very bad rating with the NY BBB. I also filed a complaint with the NY Attorney General."
"I just placed an order online with this shop. I received an email that asks me to call them to verify the credit card information. The people answered the phone is very rude and not professional. I start to have concern of this order. It have been over 1 week now, I never receive any product from them. I am still concern if they will charge my credit card and send me a "lemon"."
"This company is a fraud. I ordered a camera from them for my mother. Several weeks went by and no camera arrived. When I called to question, they said the camera was backordered, and then the next day I received an email that my order had been cancelled. To make matters worse, mysterious charges appeared on my credit card under my mother's name. The only place that would have my mother's name with my credit information is this site."
"Ordered camera for mothers day gift, arrived used with someones pictures on it, writing in owners manual, and missing the neck strap, lens cap, and video cable! I emailed and called for days, first they make you think that it was a mistake and will replace it, then they turn nasty and hang up on you. Beware! They faxed me a return label prior to hanging up on me that would ship the camera right back to me! It has a different store name and phone also (Mega Wholesale 1151 McDonald ave. Brooklyn NY 11230) I hope others do not make the same mistake but fear they will just open a new website and start all over again. Please complain to UPS or your delivery service to stop packages from being delivered by these guys."
My hubby got me the Canon A720 IS for mothers day and when he realized they are on backorder he let me go online and find one that was in stock.. I was soo happy to see that thecameraprofessionals had them at a cheaper price, AND in stock! I called Thecameraprofessionals on their customer service number to verify they had them in stock. I talked to Shawn at X210 who assured me they were in stock.. I asked if they had a lot in stock as I was going to call back after I talked to my hubby.. he said "we have lots of them so you are fine". He also let me know that I would get faster service if I ordered on the phone with him. When I was ready to order I called and asked for him as he seemed very helpful. He place the order and also tried to sell me a case for 10 bucks, batteries and some other stuff which I don't need and I said no thank you.
He said that the camera would be shipping out the next day and that their customer service department was closed but when they opened they would send me a confirmation and tracking information. I got neither.. I called back today to check status, they could not find my order, I then asked for Shawn at 210 whom let me know that my item was on backorder.. the same Shawn who yesterday assured me that they had lots in stock. I told him that I wanted to cancel, he got rude, I asked for a confirmation via e mail, he said that he would have to get me to customer service because he could not do that. I asked for a manager, and what do you know.. none in until noon. I have not gotten anything charged on my credit card yet but hubby and I are watching it close. I would NOT advise anyone doing business with this company. After my experience I started looking online to see if anyone else was having issues with this company.. I found ALL horrible feedback. "
"Do not buy from these people. They sent an incomplete camera outfit, and it has been over 4 months, and still have no lens cap. If you can actually get to someone, they do not care. In addition, right after I place the order, I had fraudulent charges to my credit card also. Stay away!!"
"BEWARE thecameraprofessionals.com!!!!!! I placed an order through them, but cancelled it when I made the required callback when they guy said "You realize this is only the accessory kit, not the camera?" Their website is misleading. What appeared to be a pretty good deal on the camera was actually only $650 worth of accessories. That is not the worst part. One month after I placed my original order, SUSPICIOUS CHARGES STARTED APPEARING ON MY CREDIT CARD. Since it was a new card that I had only used to purchase through thecameraprofessionals.com, I am convinced that their great prices are only a ruse to get credit card info. Google the company name and "scam artists". You will get a lot of hits. Do not give them your credit card info."
"Very misleading and SORRY company. I ordered a Fugi S700 camera and in the ad it says that everything they sell has a FULL USA warranty. WRONG!! The camera came in an open plain box, no warranty card, no lens cover. I tried to register the camera with Fugi, guess Fugi didn't get the memo from thecameraprofessionals about Full Warrany and they said it could not be registered as it was made overseas, in my case, Indonesia. I have tried and tried to call their 800 number to get an RA number from them but to no avail. You are put on hold and no one EVER comes back to answer the call. Oh, I did cancel my order online within 15 minutes of placing it and after reading the fine print you CAN'T cancel online and well calling is not an option as you never talk to a real live person. Oh well, they fooled me once, but this is the very LAST penny they will get from me. It is best to spend the few extra dollars and buy from a reputable and upstanding company. I learned my lesson well."
"I believe this is a scammer website. I placed an order on 26 Dec. 07. Then I received an email telling that I need to call their 800 number to verify my billing information and my CC. I spoke to a woman who did not seem to care about what I was calling for, and then I gave the information. I waited several months for the camera. I was calling every 2-3 weeks to check on the order. Every time I call I get a very rude person who would make fun of my accent and pretend to speak with an Indian accent. Though, I’m not an Indian. It was very weird. Then finally one time I called and a lady asked me for the order number. After I gave her an order number, she said it is in back order and asked me if I want to cancel the order, I said no, but then I became suspicious of the place. Finally I cancelled my order after 4 months of trying to get a d800, d200 and other cameras from this site and bestpricecamers site."
