"I would like to thank Parts Biz for the order I have received on 10/26/2013. I was assisted by a representative through on line chat. The parts were exactly what I needed and they were very reasonably priced. I have seen the same parts on other web sites and the parts were very expensive. I would recommend Parts Biz to all of my friends.
Thank you,
Marilea Hamlin"
"I ordered a replacement bowl for a Kitchen Aid food processor. It was about half the price of other online retailers. It came in 4 days and was perfect. "
"I ordered two water filters for my refrigerator on January 30 2013. When I received the order on February 4, the two filters enclosed were not what I ordered. The packing slip had the order correct but whoever packed the shipment made a mistake. I received return shipping labels and send the unit back. I then received an email saying the filters I wanted were on back order on February 19. I elected to wait for the filters. Today, the package finally arrived. What was inside? The same two incorrect filters that they shipped to me the first time. It's remarkable how a company is unable to pull two filters off the shelf and ship them to a customer not once, but twice. Stay away. You have been warned."
"Bought a part for my blender on 12/11/12. On 12/21/12 I contacted them to find out what is happening.Their response was it got lost in the mail, really? I asked why I didn't get any email's as to when it shipped or maybe a tracking number.Their response was the email's got lost too!!!! Horrible, buy elsewhere."
"I have to say, these guys impressed me. The service industry in general has gone downhill, as I'm sure we've all experienced in one way or another, and moreover when you buy from a discount seller website you know you're taking your chances and just expect to have to fight if there's anything wrong with your order. Customer service at The Parts Biz could not have been more opposite than that expectation.
It's true, I only know that because there was a minor problem with my order. Having said that, the admin I talked to could not have been more pleasant and eager to rectify the situation. I used their online chat session during normal business hours on three separate occasions, and I got the strong impression that I was chatting with the same person all three times -- I could even feel their growing frustration on my behalf and their personal ownership of the problem to get it resolved.
We returned an incorrect (but easy to mistake) item with them twice (on the second occasion, the admin went personally to insure that the correct item got sent out to us), and then had to return the correct item because it arrived defective. I strongly expect these were unusual circumstances for them; every indication would be that their merchandise would ordinarily be as high quality as their service. On all three occasions, they sent us a return label via email, and when they shipped a new item the total turnaround was only a couple of days. In every instance, they ate the additional shipping costs without any need to prompt them for that, and in the end it was they not I who suggested a full refund. I could even hear the personal disappointment on the other end of the chat session that they hadn't managed to get us the working iron we had ordered.
There's an old saying that people are at their best when things are at their worst. Personally, I believe it's more that there's an opportunity for people to be at their best, and sadly, more and more, we see folks miss that opportunity. While the circumstances surrounding my order were somewhere between annoying and comically entertaining, I would hardly describe them as the worst things could be, but I have to say, I am pleased to say, that The Parts Biz guys seized even that opportunity to demonstrate some of the best service I've had yet from a mail-order operation. I cannot recommend thepartsbiz.com highly enough.

"Terrible reliability and customer service. They will refund your money, but not the shipping and handling. Protect your money and spend a dollar or two more with a reliable company. ThePartsBiz had the best price, so ordered it via Sears. Later received notification that the part was returned & our money was refunded (except for the shipping cost). ThePartsBiz blamed USPS who returned via "return to sender." Why? ThePartsBiz doesn't care. That's your problem!"
"Terrible customer service. Accidentally ordered the wrong part. Immediately began trying to get a hold of someone to cancel the order. Called repeatedly during their published business hours...kept getting an automated message (no opportunity to speak to an operator or leave a message). Sent an email and someone finally responded just to say sorry, the order already went through. If they had answered any of my dozen phone calls, I could have gotten the order cancelled long before it was processed. Ridiculous."
"I ordered a water filter yesterday, and today they sent me an email saying that they're out of stock. How about keeping track of stock and letting me know I'm ordering a backlogged item before I place an order? Thanks a lot. Now I've just wasted a day where I could have been closer to having my filter and drinking fresh water."
"Found that The Parts Biz had the best price on my Charbroil barbecue grill replacement cooking grates. I ordered them on 7/8/12 received them on 7/12/12 in perfect shape, just as I ordered, and as they described."
"Ordered a heating coil for an electric clothes dryer. I checked several sites to make sure I was ordering the right part. PartsBiz had the lowest online price and charged an extremely fair $3.00 for shipping. Placed the order Monday night and received the correct part on Friday.
I'm a satisfied customer and would not hesitate to buy from them again."
"Horrible customer service and their website makes false claims! I ordered a part that according to their website was a replacement for my existing part and it doesn't fit. They will not accept a return nor an exchange of this item since I placed my order a long time ago. They also will not update their site to remove the false claim that the part is a replacement. How can they do business like that?"
"I ordered what was supposed to be a new replacement ice maker. They shipped a used unit that had been taped shut with scotch tape and the mounting plate was scored where it had been mounted before. Now the ice maker has failed after 60 days of operation and they tell me they won't replace it. I should have checked them out beforehand... They have unresolved BBB complaints and no BBB rating. Everywhere I look at reviews, they have unresolved customer problems. Isn't it illegal to misrepresent new products as new?"
"Totally useless. Customer service is a joke. Cannot find my orders on "my account", three emails lasking for info have gone unanswered. Phone calls have gotten me nowhere. Don't waste your time."
"Ordered part 91721 (heat shield) for Sam's 9803S as indicated on their website. Specs indicated 9-3/4" x 17". Received items and they would not fit. I measured them and they are actually 10" wide. I contacted PartsBiz and after much discussion regarding the fact that the right part was ordered based on their site, but that the parts were made out of spec, they finally offered to pay for return shipping. I indicated there were no other parts that could substitute and that I may have to bend them to fit and would be willing to try if they would be willing to offer compensation for me having to do this to new parts. They said no. Obviously they do not really care that the item they are selling is incorrectly made. I will say that the order process was fine and I realize it was not their mistake, but they had a chance to meet in middle, but didn't. So much for true customer service."
"I purchased an Oral B/Braun electric toothbrush handle which was very reasonably priced. The item came packaged professionally and works great. The shipping charge was very reasonable, the product was shipped the day after I ordered it, and I received it 6 days after ordering it via FedEx SmartPost. I would definitely do business with them again. "
