I have had the worst online furniture buying experience of my life with this company. We bought a king size bed frame in late April. We didn't put it together right away because I had a major surgery with a long recovery. When my husband began to put it together in June, he saw that it didn't have any instructions or screws/bolts. I sent a message to customer service, and they sent a pdf of the instructions but it took them 16 days to send the parts. Hubby started to put it together again, but then noticed that the parts didn't fit in holes on the frame! I submitted another help ticket on July 16, and now it has been 10 days and they have not resolved the issue yet. I called the customer service number and they said they are trying to get a new frame from the manufacturer. Still no updates on my help ticket. We currently have our nice new Tempur-pedic mattress on the floor. We are too old for that! At this point I just want a refund so we can buy a new bed frame from a reputable company. I will never in life buy any furniture from this company again!"
"I ordered a sofa they were advertising to be from The Ashley Home Store. Well I went to the Ashley store within 24 hrs just to see it up close, feel it, overall just wanted to see what I was getting. I ordered it from the classy home because it was about $150 cheaper, well you get what you pay for.
The rep from the Ashley home store told me it was not their sofa on classy home site, it couldn’t be because they don’t authorize or outsource their products. They said what will probably show up is a musty piece of crap from China, in an itchy fabric, not same color and probably made from cardboard not wood.
So I cancelled the order immediately from classy home and paid the extra to Ashley to get authentic sofa.
So then classy home tried to tell me they were going to charge me 25% (140.91) restocking fee. I told them I already notified my creditor of their shady practices and by law I have up to 3 business days to cancel an order and they were also doing illegal business selling knock offs, so I said go ahead and try to charge me a restocking fee. And if you did charge me restocking then I want all the proof that you restocked it all the way back to China and/or didn’t already resell it, I want to see all the tracking info for that item.
Within 5 minutes I had my full refund. Moral of the story is don’t take no crap from a vendor who is practicing fraudulent, illegal selling. Do not buy from them no matter how good the deal seems because you are not getting what’s advertised."
"I bought a white faux leather chaise lounger. A yellowed chaise arrived in February 2021. I immediately initiated a return and they literally refuse to take back the item. They do not see the item before it ships, so they literally have no idea what they are selling. The are just a middle man that upcharges. I still have the item and I'm fighting with them and my bank. They literally refuse to give me an address to ship it back."

"I purchased the global furniture white leather gel recliner in January of 2021. First lemme get say the chair itself it’s comfy and so beautiful, the color is not white is more of an eggshell/shiny pearl ivory color. I placed my order and the website stated they have 7 in stock a week later I get an email that chair is now on back order. I reached out to the customer support and then basically I was told I was **** of out luck n I’ll have to wait until end of March or beginning of April. I went back and forth with Sue from that department she offered a discount for the inconvenience then retracted back when I accepted the offer then she resorted to provide just a $20 discount for future purchase. Well I received my chair just yesterday and I immediately left a review on the website and this morning I receive an email stating “thank you for giving review” while the actual review was taking down from the website."
"I ordered chairs for my dining table in Feb 2021. Approx delivery time was 7-10 days and I got it delivered within time. The chairs were in good condition and there was no damage during shipping. Delivery staff was helpful. Only point I dislike about the service is they charge extra for in-house delivery, but it was a nominal charge, so I would like to order again from classy home."
"I purchased a bed from the classy home and I got a great deal as I had a low budget. After ordering I got it delivered 1 day late but I was notified about it. The bed looks as shown in the pictures on the site, so it was a big relief for me. They kept me updated about the shipping details and it was a great thing. "Horrible customer service. Do your research about this company. When something goes wrong with order or merchandise, they run away from responsibility. There are a ton of negative reviews about The Classy Home. I ordered a chest that had incorrect dimensions and it wasn't the same as advertised on their site. They want a restocking fee, shipping fee, and for me to pay to ship the chest back to them. For the past 3 weeks, I have been going back and forth with this company. They wanted me to send pictures as proof. When I did that, Rachel from The Classy Home had the nerve to say that I didn't fully extend the tape measure in my photo. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and also with the Better Business Bureau. "
"My table arrived @ 655 am, the two men stated they are leaving the table ( around 200lbs), on my driveway. I told them "no way". I paid for delivery in my home. One man brought in the boxes and the other said " I'm not going in there"..everyone had masks on. The room was emptied for quick delivery.
When the boxes were opened, there were chips on the pedestal and the edge of the table. Also there were 2 predrilled holes missing , needed to attach the table to the pedestal.
Poor craftmanship and poor delivery.
Oh, I forgot, the delivery was scheduled 2 days early, but it was a no call no show."

"I saw a couch I liked and ordered it June 8 2020. they said August 4 2020 was the shipping date. Had to pay 280.00 for shipping and handling. Now it’s August 6 2020 and they said it won’t be in until beginning of October 2020 which is probably just another “date” to keep me strung along. Have contacted them a handful of times and it takes them between 3-5 days for them to get back to me each time with no progress. I am asking for a full refund because my order has not been fulfilled. I have contacted my lawyer after seeing reviews all over the internet about how they are a horrible, horrible company to buy furniture from. Incase they don’t make this ship sail smoothly with a refund for the amount of money I just fished out for nothing. "
