"Purchased computer game on 10/01/2007. TheGameCollection.net shows order dispatched on 11/01/2007. It's now 19/01/2007 and I haven't received anything. I've sent an email - no reply... and left a message (which I won't receive a reply to as well...
Called 01792 652521 and a guy anwsers saying that's the wholesaler and that he hasn't got another number for the sales or dispatches... all I can do now is wait. If I don't receive anything by Monday next week I will have to do something more drastic about it...

"USE AT YOUR PERIL: ordered pc game 31st December 06, money taken from credit card 2nd January 07, telephone no. on website only recorded messages, traced another telephone no. and was advised my order would be dealt with. Eventually received two emails advising game despatched on 5th January, received today (12th January) with postmark, strangely of 11th January (what happened to 5th - as I was told).

PC game consists of four discs - box not sealed, not in correct box (used 1 disc box) and paper cover folded to fit box.

I will not be using this website again, you learn by your mistakes.

"I would never use this company again. The website states that delivery is within 2-5 days but it took two weeks.
Communication is impossible. I tried e-mailing and telephoning bit never recieved any replies. I even tried ringing the parent company to see if I could get a response. I was promised that someone would ring me back but again this didn't happen.
With all other mail order companies I have used my credit card is not charged until the goods are dispatched but this company charged my card whilst my order was still pending.
When my game arrived (today) it was not in any cellophane wrapping and am left wondering if I have actually been sent a second hand game. I would return it but their website states that they will onlyoffer refunds where the cellophane wrapper is still intact! Due to their apparent inability to communicate with their customers I could not be assured that I would ever be credited with my money if I did return the game.
All in all this company is the worst I have ever purchased anything from on the internet and I will be advising my family and friends never to purchase from them.

"The product was cheap, but I'm not impressed with the speed of the delivery. I ordered it on the 28th of December and it wasn't dispactched till the 5th Jan. I still haven't recieved it, even though it was sent first class. I've had no replies to my emails.

oh I also found this number for them on yell.com if anyone wants it...

"Hi,

I do not like to complain however I am very dissapointed with your delivery performance. The goods where aledgely dispatched on 7 December. I was then advised they had been dispatched to the wrong address and that the goods had been re-directed on 18 December 2006. I am still waiting for the goods. I can see my son being very dissapointed on Christmas Day. I would like to know when I can expect to see the parcel

"The Game Collection only seems interested in the sale... not after-sales service. I ordered two items, separately, for Christmas. One of them arrived within three days with very fast, FREE shipping. Great, right?

Not so much. The other item, ordered on the 11th December, never arrived. I've emailed their Customer Service people several times and they've always promised a response within 12-48 hours. That was weeks ago. I simply cannot get a response out of them, and I need to know what to do about my missing package.

They seem to be a great store with decent prices, but if you need them for anything aside from handing over your money, it's probably best not to bother.

I'm very disappointed, especially since this sales relationship started on such a positive note and all they had to do to keep it going was respond to my email(s).

"Absolutely terrible. I ordered a game late last night/this morning (1 am) and later sent an email (10 minutes later in fact) for this order to be cancelled. these people obviously have no idea how to use their website or email as the cancellation request I had sent was completley ignored and the game was dispatched to myself this morning from their store. I will be contacting trading standards."

"Beware - This company will send you imported games and not the UK version you think you are ordering.

I received an Australian import of FIFA 07 instead of the UK version. I tried to return under their 14 day money-back guarantee but all 6 emails sent were ignored. Telephone number on website just plays a pre-recorded message telling you to email!

Very flash website, but very poor customer service.

Unless your console can play imports, avoid at all costs.
