"I have a 5 cup Cuisinart food processor manufactured by Robo-Coupe that I purchased 40 years ago, shortly after food processors were introduced in retail stores throughout the US. Years later, I resisted the urge to buy a newer, higher capacity model as this heavy steel version has a dependable motor and has served me well. Understandably, the plastic bowl and cover eventually suffered stress fractures from use. I was so pleased that Gourmet Depot carried replacements that allowed me continued use of an old friend. "I would never do business with this company again. I placed an order for Cuisinart Blade Discs, then two minutes or less later responded to the suggestion of a disc holder and placed another order. They responded to the second order with shipping information, and it arrived in time and in good order. I had no need for the second order without the first, to which there was no response other than an acknowedgement of the order. When I called, I was placed on hold for 13 minutes (timed). When the representative finally came to the phone, he kept interrupting me as I was telling him about the problem because he wouldn't listen to me as long as I felt upset. I did not attack, nor use vulgar language, nor shout; I remained focused on the issue. I was trying explain to him the problem, but I guess I wasn't laid back enough in my tone of voice. He told me it was my fault that I had to wait on the line 13 minutes because I had called at a busy time. Customer Service Department here should be labelled Customer Attack Department. I finally learned that the item had been placed on back order, without informing me so I could cancel the first order. He did admit that they may have slipped up there. I am still waiting for the back ordered item . "
