"Richard deferred a problem with an Ion gen controller that wasn't functioning to the manufacturer in an apparent attempt to get a better outcome for himself. All I got was a bunch of contradictory data from Aquascape that didn't resolve the problem. They have a week to make good on their warranty or we go to court."

"I had placed an order and things didn't go through with the credit card it was my fault I tried sending it through 7 times as I tried to look up the phone number for the store Richard had called me tell me where you get service like that he went above and beyond I'm not saying that just because of the phone call he replied to every email I had sent him and then some we finally got my order to go through Parts came way before I thought they would get here as for the people not giving a good review he don't make these parts in the store he buys them just like we do no matter what it is every now and then there is a bad part he has been in the business for a while if he knew it was no good he wouldn't send it and I'm sure he would get upset with an employee if they knew something was wrong and sent it like any business he can't inspect and test out every part he has honestly would you want a part that has been used I'm sure he buys these parts from the people who he trusts if he's sold junk he wouldn't be in business remember there is a lemon in everything that is built or put together just like vehicles I'm sure he will do everything he possibly can to make customers happy some customers you just can't make happy because they want something for free I understand when you pay for something and it don't work you get upset but you have to go with the flow get it replaced through the proper channels this is the best customer service I've ever seen but as for you complainers I can see your parents didn't spank you enough when you were a kid sounds like most of you still are a kid( cry babies) he treated me with the utmost respect very polite and like I said he went above and beyond for me and he don't know me from Tom **** or Harry he has never met me and remember when you treat someone with respect you get more out of that person it's a proven fact Richard keep up the great work and if you don't like what he sells go somewhere else and see what you get I thank you and your staff for being honest reliable courteous and respectful may God bless you all even you whiny cry babies"
"Back on April 8th i contacted ThePondOutlet for a UV Clarifier. I was in an exchange of emails with Richard. The customer service at this point was spot in and helpful. This ultimately made my decision to pay $60 more then they're competition. Once I received the product, it stopped working within a day. I reached back out to Richard and he directed me to the manufacturer to file a warranty. Who files a warranty on a brand new product? that blows my mind. After getting a hold of the manufacturer, they had me file paperwork and said it'll take 3 business days to complete. I waited over a week and called them back, and they told me that the email was never worked on and that I need to wait another 3 days for someone to look at it. I vented my frustration to the manufacturer and they told me that the company that I purchased this from should've done a return. Once again, I emailed Richard and vented my frustration and he stated that the manufacturer requests that it's done that way. Well, I've reached out to all their competition and she's them about return policy on a recently purchased item and they all told me that they'd refund or exchange this item within they're return policy. ThePondOutlet doesn't have this item listed as not refundable or I'd look elsewhere.
It is now may 20th and the manufacturer had finally sent the item. I will receive it within the next week or so.
All in all, my experience with ThePondOutlet had been horrible. The customer support is not existent and I wish I can give them an actual Google review also.

I waited three weeks for floating plants which I could have bought locally from an OR vendor through local WA company.
