"Al though the order arrived slightly later than expected, it was initially a backorder and I receive very detailed emails regarding the status of my order from Sound Professionals. Excellent customer service!

This pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50XBL is excellent and beautiful. I even got a free hardcase with it.

"Horrible customer service. Placed an order at the beginning of April for a $100 or so worth of cables because they claimed to have them in stock. Few hours later, they call me to say they do not have them and did not know if/when they would have them in stock. Would I like to cancel my order? Well yes, I would. They said they would cancel it immediately.

A month or so later, I get a credit card statement (it is a company card, I do not have online access to it) showing that they charged me for the cables anyway. I call them up, they say that the order was never canceled even though they called me to cancel it. They apologize profusely, a manager gets involved, and I am told it will be refunded that afternoon.

Another month goes by, next statement shows up. Still no refund. I call again, try to tell my story and ask where my refund is. I am told I should speak with a manager but he is on another line. They take my number and number, promise he will call as soon as he can. Instead I get a simple email stating that they did refund the money, gave me a confirmation code and that was it.

After talking it through with the credit card company, we find that they refunded the money in June. Several weeks after they said they would. TWO MONTHS after I canceled the order. I know problems crop up with orders or payments or refunds, but this is not how you handle it. Bad customer service, horrible communication. I will take my business elsewhere.

"While the ordering experience itself was pretty much flawless, and TSP delivered the items (and it was relatively quick shipping as well). The item could have been described better, I was unaware it was a "left ear only" mono headset, and I require a "right ear" or "ambidextrous" mono headset as I can only hear from my right ear. The item was on closeout and cheap, otherwise I would have been more disappointed. I've mad the headset work, but in bending the mic to get close to my mouth, it doesn't leave quite enough slack to everyone's telling me I'm quieter. It will serve as a good backup headset, but I will need to buy another primary. The only reason this is really TSPs "problem" at all is because the description and pictures were not clear enough to show it wasn't ambidextrous, which I assumed it was, given every other mono headset I've owned has been. "
