" So far I have completed one full six hour course and I'm eight hours into a 48 hour course and I have to say that I am very pleased with my purchase. These courses are friendly to the layman on the subject, yet they are profoundly informative and fascinating. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to learn new things and satisfy their curiosity about the world. This was a very good investment for me, and I plan on continuing to invest in and gain from this great learning tool.
Another great thing is the warranty. When I read the warranty, I was shocked. I didn't expect it to have much of a warranty at all. Turns out, it has what is probably the best warranty I've ever seen. You can trade them in, or get a refund if they don't meet your standards. Best of all, if any of your stuff gets damaged, destroyed, or lost; you can get a replacement for free, forever, as long as it is still in print. That is awesome! Above and beyond a favorable arrangement. That is caring about your customer and standing behind the quality of your product. The people who are making these courses and bringing them to us are good people with good ethics. I would actually like to take this chance to thank them for contributing to the enrichment of my life through sharing knowledge. Thank you all!
However, I did choose a 4 star rating. This is because I was not happy with the shipping. It did arrive in very good shape. The product was well packaged and handled gently. Where the problem lies is with the price of shipping and handling. I paid extra for two day express shipping. It took six days to arrive (four of which were business days). My suggestion is to buy the courses and enjoy the learning. Just don't upgrade your shipping. I hope this review will be helpful for anyone who is on the fence about getting The Great Courses. For they truly are great. Thank you for reading my review."
