"This company clearly lies about having items in stock. I purchased a table that was out of stock on every site and they claim to have it. However it has not shipped and we are more than a week past the promised ship date. I am able to see when it will be in stock for other sites and it is obvious that at that time the simple store will probably ship it . Every time I call they constantly tell me that it is shipping that day and that this never happens. Also, if you call go ahead and ask for a manager otherwise you'll fool around with someone that was trained on a script for a while. "

"Several resellers offered the same product for the same price. I chose the Simple Stores because their website said they would be able to ship the product out sooner than the others. I'm so sorry I picked them.
First, once the order was placed and confirmed, they changed the shipment date from what it said on the website. It was now going to arrive later than some of the other options. Then, they didn't even meet that deadline. Instead, on the day the product was supposed to ship, they emailed me asking for a credit card authorization form to be manually filled out. What's the point of shopping online if you have to do this? And why didn't they ask sooner? They asked 5 days after I placed the order. So here we are, 5 days later, on the day the product is supposed to ship, and it doesn't. They receive the form, and say, "now we'll start processing the order."
So then it's several more days before the product ships. And here's the kicker - when it arrives, it's damaged. All cracked and broken. I had to send it back. For these issues, I had to talk to their customer service twice. Both times, I was stuck talking to someone who spoke poor English and didn't understand me well at all. It took forever to try and do the simplest tasks, like verifying my order number. They offered to put me through to a manager, but that person happened to be "out to lunch." So far, for all this nonsense, all they've offered is a scripted insincere apology.
So here I am, still with no product from the Simple Stores. If you find something you like on their website, I encourage you to find the same item elsewhere. This company is awful."

"The bed is a great value for the price that you pay. Assembly was fairly simple. The dresser comes already assembled. In one place there was one hole that had been drilled about 4mm too low, which wouldn't be a big deal but it was one of the pre-drilled holes that had a metal ring inside of it. I had to adjust a bit for that, but nothing too difficult. It was received way ahead of schedule which was nice. There was really no way to track the package. I received an email when it shipped, but the link did not provide shipping updates. When I called The Simple Stores, the women on the phone was pleasant and gave a website (seemed like a small trucking company) and the order number, but still no tracking updates were given except that it had shipped. "
