" I am very dissatisfied with my purchase from ThinkGeek. I ordered several items and 2 t-shirts from them as Christmas presents. When I reviewed the order on the email reciept, only 2 minutes after placing the order, I noticed that the sizes had not updated in the shopping cart, and were wrong. I immediately emailed their orders department to fix this, and recieved a confirmation that the email had been recieved. The next day I get a second email saying that it was too late to change the order. I then called and talked to Chris who explained that once the invoice is done, they cannot change an order, even though it has not been completely processed, let alone shipped. This is ridiculously poor customer service. I then asked him to cancel the order, and I would reorder everything. This is not possible either. My only option is to RMA the items once I recieve them. This is very poor customer service, and if "that's how the system works," as was claimed by Chris, then the system is broken and needs to be fixed, or at least be updated to 20'th century technology, where you could pick up a phone and call the warehouse and have them correct the order.
This company carries cool stuff, but I will never buy from them again. "
"This is the second time I have ordered through Thinkgeek and as before I was very pleased with my order - I received my orders via standard shipping in less than a week, and the selection of items is both unique, varied, and of good quality. I certainly expect to purchase from this store in the future. To be fair, I would like to say that I have never called their customer support or needed to get in touch with them, and I have no idea if the comment below complaining about their customer support is merited."
"After placing a single item order with ThinkGeek, I had forgot to add an item. I sent them an e-mail to add the item and was told that no help was available for orders. I asked why the lack of customer service and received some nasty excuses and was called names. I refuse to do business with them again."
"EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I bought a defective micro R/C Helicopter from them and returned it the next day. They refunded my full payment including shipping within days. They even payed to have it returned to them. I would definately make future purchases with this hassel-free company. "
""Wow!" That's all I can say about ThinkGeek's level of customer service. This is what sets them apart from everyone else on the web. I had an issue with an item I ordered and Thinkgeek took care of it immediately (no waiting on hold, no transfers between "departments", just one friendly rep eager and able to help). To my knowledge, this is the only company in the universe that actually sends you pre-paid UPS shipping labels for RMAs or refunds shipping costs on returns! I cannot rate this store highly enough! :)
P.S. I have also accrued over 15,000 GeekPoints in total (although I've traded some for the free green laser, airzooka, etc)."

Living in Canada, I expect orders to be delayed, held at customs, and then be slammed with charges, when ordering from U.S. stores. Not the case with ThinkGeek. They only offer UPS because, as I certainly know, USPS takes way too long and is frustrating. My order was at my door within a couple of days, I was stunned.
