I ordered a mystery box and was unsure about some of the sizing so I contacted their support staff and was responded to within minutes, I was met with the best customer service experience I've ever had with an online business, I got a real person answering my personal questions, unlike most companies that send automated responses. I placed my order and was sent tracking info within a few hours and I received my order it BEFORE the estimated arrival time. The quality of this companies items are top notch. They are hands down the softest garments I've ever bought even after washing them! Thread Society is now my go to shop for my personal attire as well as gifts for friends and family. "My experience has been a nightmare. I began my process in early october trying to get some custom shirts made before the world series for my company. They offered to take care of printing and insisted i not just order the blanks. It is now April and my business has not been able to operate because of HORRIBLE customer service and straight up lying from the manager i have been working with. Again I paid in October and have still recieved NOTHING. They are single handedly bankrupting my business as I am waiting on products they have promosed time and time again. My story has so much more nightmares but I cant even begin to start talking about those. Will NEVER do business here again and urge others to so the same. The only helpful person has been Danielle, but one employee cant be running the show. "
"I recently stumbled upon this brand while looking up soft shirts to purchase wholesale and print several of my designs on (I am a mixed media artist and graphic designer). I was immediately impressed by the retail look their site had rather than just being a wholesale landing page. I filled out a brief form on their home page and was contacted within minutes by a custom shirt specialist who gave me an awesome price on digitally printed shirts. I sent in my art and was contacted again by one of their designers who suggested a few changes that ended up making it look a lot better on the garment, along with a detailed mockup. I ended up ordering a total of 6 custom shirts from them as samples but will definetly be back for more in the future. My only slight complaint is that my shirts took longer to arrive than I originally expected ,but I was very happy with the quality and the attention they gave to my project during the ordering process. overall I am very happy with the customer experience and would suggest this business to anyone looking for custom printing or just a really soft shirt! "
"I recently recieved my order of a ladies triblend tee and a "St Denis " Fleece Zip Up and I was thrilled! I am a frequent customer at Zara, Uniqlo and American Apparel for basic essentials for my wardrobe but was recently recommended this company by a friend. The shirts were higher quality than comparably priced ladies tees from Uniqlo and I love love LOVED the zip up, which was a bit warmer than I expected it would be but will be perfect for chillier nights this spring.
My only two complaints are that my order took a bit longer than expected to arrive (I received an email from a customer service rep with an apology though, which was nice) and the selection on the site is not very extensive. I hope they add some more tank tops for women this summer, and maybe some activewear or other lifestyle clothing. Overall I loved shopping with Thread Society and will likely do so again! "
"I ordered shirts from Thread Society on March 2nd, 2017. I placed a large order with the intention of potentially using them to print my graphic tee shirt line on. The price seemed comparable / a little better than some other suppliers like American Apparel so I decided to check them out. I also liked that they do "give back" programs and so on.
On March 5th I recieved an email letting me know that several of my shirts were out of stock. I am not sure why this happened but when I responded, I was quickly given a phone call and set up with new shirts of a higher value which were sent to me free of charge to replace the ones that were marked as out of stock. My full order arrived about 4 biz days later, along with a nice note from Anna in their production department apologizing for the confusion. I ended up really liking their "Premium" line of tee shirts along with the triblend hoodies, after doing a few test prints with them I will probably go with them for custom printing.
I felt compelled to write this review after not being able to find a "rate" feature on their website because the impression that is get is this is a small business run by a young staff that isn't quite ready to handle the amount of biz they are getting. There are definetly some unfavorable reviews of these guys on this site but overall I was impressed by the work ethic that went into solving my issues and I REALLY liked the shirts, so they will be getting another order from me! "
"I ordered three tee shirts, charged immediately, took two weeks to receive product. After numerous calls and emails looking for update on shipping, no return calls or emails at all , can't get any customer service at all. Then I finally got the product , two tshirts had holes in them so returned products for replacement and still no response or replacement products or refund , do not , do not , do not purchase anything from this company. "
"Do not shop with this company! We ordered a small batch of long sleeve tshirts for a family trip. They immediately sent a invoice, we immediately paid it AND THEN WE NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD FROM THEM! Until I posted on their Facebook wall... they promised a customer service rep would fix this by EOD. 3 days later I finally got an email with artwork... I needed a change due to them not doing what I originally asked for on art. I replied to the email and now they have gone silent again... we are supposed to be receiving the shirts TOMORROW... can't get ahold of them! I have a feeling this company is a scam! If they miraculously show up I will eat my words and delete this review! But it has been the death of me to get any communication out of them! Horrible experience "
"Very unpleasant experience. I wear an XL in t-shirts because I like them to fit loosely. The size XL shirt I ordered was extremely small. I shipped it back to the returns department (I paid for return shipping costs but did not purchase insurance). After 3 weeks I inquired if they had received the shirt. They asked me if I had the tracking number. I did not. I was told they would keep an eye out but they couldn't be held responsible for lost items. Can they be held responsible for mis-sized items? For all I know, they received it and are claiming they didn't. Lesson learned for me. Always purchase insurance on returns. I'm out $20.95 plus $3.00 for return shipping. And a lot of wasted time. I would say that customer service is a thing of the past, but some companies to provide excellent customer service. Just not this one."
"I gave this company every benefit of the doubt that I could, because their stated mission is admirable, but I cannot support a company with such terrible customer service. My return is on it's way back. I ordered 4 items, and am returning two because they didn't fit. I have sent them 5-6 emails (none returned) and put in multiple phone calls (none returned). Nothing.
I would urge anyone considering doing business with them to consider my review as a warning. I placed the order on August 22rd. They charged my card and I got a reciept instantly. On September 3rd, after repeated inquiries as to order status, I suddenly recieved a shipping notice on 9/3.
Now I'm thinking ok, finally. I got the product on 9/16, a full 13 days after my shipping notice arrived. Almost a month after my order, it finally arrived.
Knew right away I wanted to return two of the items, so emailed them right away about returning them, per the instructions on their website. No Response.
no repsonses to emails, calls nothing.
To call it horrible customer service would imply they have some customer service: There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!
