"I wanted to get tickets for Amanda Palmer in Vancouver next year.
First hit on google was tickets-center.com.
They sell tickets from 177$us-245$us each.
I wondered about the price and looked further:
Vancouver Theatre sells them for 104$us-117$us each.
UBC tickets itself, the venue where the concert will be, sells them for 49,50$CAN!!!
Yes, plus a service charge of 18$ for 2 tickets, but even if Tickets-center.com wouldn't add any charges (guess what, they do), I still payed way less for two tickets in Canadian Dollars at UBC than I would have payed at tickets-center for a single one in $US.
I get that resellers want to mak a cut, but asking more than a 4x(up to 9x) the regular prize (mind you, it's $us vs. $can) is a scam, hands down.
Seriously, don't go there.

"I never placed an order with this company yet they charged my credit card. As soon as I was notified I reported my credit card stolen and called and notified them this was an unauthorized purchase. They refused to cancel the order and told me to get over it. That I could just resell the tickets.... why should I sell something I never purchased? Then I tell them if they are going to charge me Even though I didn’t purchase the tickets to at least give me the tickets then... they proceed to tell me I can’t get the tickets til next May!!!!! So not only do they charge credit cards without authorization they also do it without giving you anything for 6 months!!!!!!!!! Then they guys hung up on me... how professional is that? "Don't use this service. They overcharged for the tickets and the service fees are ridiculous. I didn't get my $400 tickets until the day before the event and I only got them on time because I had to complain to get the tickets sent out in time. This was a special purchase for my mother-in-law who had to travel to attend the event and we were totally worried the tickets wouldn't arrive in time for the concert. So disappointed, unless you hound them you may not get your tickets."

"I bought my tickets 3 months in advance and 2 weeks before my concert the tickets still weren't there. We called and called waiting for our tickets and were told we would receive them the day of the concert. After a 5 hour drive to our concert we still didn't have our tickets and realized this was all a scam and had to purchase new tickets. We tried to get a refund and were told we could't because they "had proof" that we received our tickets. This site is a joke and I don't understand how they can do this to people!

"Just purchased ~$1k worth of Cirque Du Soleil tickets for a Christmas present (my parents). After the transaction, I received an email confirming the order and electronic delivery.
However, then I received another email stating that the tickets will be transfered ONLY to a mobile phone 3 1/2 months from now (three days before the show). There’s no phone number for this company. No support email. Nothing at all; it’s a scam and unfortunately, I didn’t realize that it was a bad/fradulent website.
Hoping other folks read this before they purchase. I didn’t but see quite a bit of similarity in what other folks here have experienced.
Note: Electronic delivery typically means email, so tickets can be printed. The exception is StubHub where they clearly indicate if the tickets will transfer to your account through their mobile app. Don’t be fooled, this is not that."

"These guys exist to fool people into thinking they are a primary seller but they are a market that jacks up the price. If your are here it is probably because they already fooled you and gouged you. Not much you can do. But if you are researching them before the fact, you are lucky. Avoid these guys and get your tickets from someone who doesn't have deception as a business model."

"This company is horrible. I purchased specific seats for a Disney on ice show- locat and d directly in front on the stage, lower level. When I received the tickets in the email they were completely different seats. Side view in the 200 level. There customer service number is all automated that is no help at all. I finally received the following email from Edward P from customer support ; In accordance with our 100% Buyer Guarantee, the tickets you receive are guaranteed to be identical to, comparable to, or better than the tickets specified in your order. The exact criteria thatconstitutes a comparable or upgraded ticketis determined at our discretion. If the tickets you receive are unsatisfactory, we will investigate the matter. If it is determined, in our discretion, that the tickets you received are not for seats that are comparable to or better than the seats you ordered, we will either work with you to find suitable replacement tickets or issue a refund, provided that you return your tickets to our offices (if applicable). ; That email was received November 15th. It is now December 4th and I still have not yet received the correct tickets or a refund, not even another reply. This company is a joke. They dont care about providing you with the product you chose. They have horrible customer service. There only guarentee here with this company is that they will screw up your order and you will be the one paying for it. "
