"I have placed an online order and 5 minutes later i cancelled, to replaced with another one (i have received the indication to do so from TigerDirect customer service - they were unable to modify my original order).
One week later, the new order was already delivered however, the credit card still had the money on hold for the original one.
Called support and got this answer: It is ok for you not to have the money available, they are on hold. We need to fax the cancellation to the bank. Do not worry, you will get it back, once that is done.
Shame. You (TigerDirect.ca) are withholding almost $300 for more than a week with no rights to do so and really do not care about customers. And according to your support service, that is OK.

"Dealth with Tiger Direct for many years. This time I was very disappointed. I am rebuilding my system & as usual bought all my parts from them. They sold me an OEM Operating System Windows 7. I cannot load it since I am not a reseller & not a partner with Microsoft. They should have made me aware of the conditions. I am very upset because I am stuck with a software I cannot use & I cannot return it because it has been opened. This involves a good amount of money & causing me a lot of grief. I don't think I will ever buy anything from Tiger Direct. Microsoft is a real farce. Guy C."
