"Tiles arrived late, broken or chipped....based on the packing it was not the fault of the currier.
some were 8x8 some 3x4 which made it difficult to imagine an entire wall application.
Your site went down on me twice while ordering.
Being a busy physician,it does not appeal to me to spend this amount of time for small and broken samples.
I would rather pay full price for one sq ft of each.
However, the product that arrived was of fabulous quality which puts me in a quandry----do I risk a $5K order or not.

“Thank you for your feedback regarding our samples. It sounds to me like you had a poor experience with our company and I would like to try to allay some of your concerns.

Orders for samples and orders for full sheets of tile are handled completely differently. Our samples are cut from full sheets and then shipped via USPS. Unfortunately due to this process we are occasionally notified of damaged samples, but as the samples are meant strictly for color and material reference they will usually suffice anyway. If this was not the case for you please let us know and we will immediately do whatever we can to make sure you get better samples.

Full sheets are individually wrapped in both cardboard and plastic, and then placed inside a box. That box is then placed inside another reinforced box, which is then filled with the most advanced foam packing technology. Our packing methods for full tile orders have been rigorously tested using all industry standard crush tests. These orders are then shipped out via UPS or a freight carrier, depending on the size of the order. In the extremely rare event that a customer receives damaged tiles, we would replace it for free.

"I have done several project around my home, requiring tile - I have been so impressed with Glass Tile Store over all other companies - As an interior designer (working even on my own small projects at home) I expect a lot from a company and Glass Tile Store DELIVERS and MORE!

"Customer service was excellent. Tile samples arrived, but one tile sample was wrong. I would suggest marking the BACK of the tile with the label that indicates what the sample is -- DO NOT put the label on the front, which interferes with the viewing of the tile samples.

It has only been a few days but I am still waiting for the missing sample to arrive. (I assume it has been shipped out, since your Customer Service Rep(JI think his name was Jeremy) indicated it would be shipped out promptly.

"Damaged goods sent on purpose and when they refunded money they wanted to take an "adjustment fee" out of it. Not very good policy. Took submitting a claim to pay pal to get it resolved."

"One of the glass tile samples was missing some tiles, and one of the subway tiles was cracked. The tiles were just packaged in a USPS envelope with minimal padding. Hopefully a real order would be treated better. "
