"I ordered several in-stock items and one that was for preorder. This was on August 11th and they are now listing my preorder as in stock; however, I have not gotten my order. I have e-mailed them twice and they just told me that the item is still preorder. I have also tried to call, but no answer. I have had good luck with them in the past, just avoid their preorders!
UPDATE: I finally got through to them a year later! By then they were willing to try and just ship my non-preorder items and then it turned out that those items were no longer in stock (they didn't even hold them for me). I see a few other figures I want there that I haven't been able to find anywhere else but it's not worth it. I'll just go without."
"I placed my very first order with Toywiz several days ago and, last night at 9:45 at night, I received a phone call from their customer service requesting that I call them back. First off, no one should be calling about an issue like this at 9:45. This is NOT good customer service.
Secondly, I call back to find out that my item is not in stock and won't be able to be ordered. Not a huge problem except it STILL says "in stock" on their website.

Not very accurate. I was given an excuse that it's busy around Christmastime. That same CSR ALSO told me that she would get me a refund immediately.
5 hours later, I had to call AGAIN to request my refund. That person told me the original agent probably "got busy."
Well, I'll make sure I'm too busy to use their store ever again. They're horrible."

"BAD EXPERIENCE. Ordered a Star Wars toy on pre-order, it never showed. They kept telling me it just wasn't in. But they made it available on their website for double the price for those who wanted it badly enough. What a scam. After 6 weeks, I cancelled the order. Got it from another company in 2 days. My Kindergartener waited by the mail box everyday for Toywiz. This is a shameful company. Take your business elsewhere."
"AWESOME - THESE PEOPLE ROCK!! I needed a case of 12 Star Wars 30th Anniv. Wave 5 action figures for my son's Christmas present and could not find it anywhere. If I could find it, it was pre-order only with delivery in January - that would not make him light up on Christmas....then I saw "Toywiz" on google - they had it - they had it and it was in stock, no way I thought. I submitted my order and watched my email for any sign that this case of 12 characters would arrive after Christmas - THE CASE ARRIVED AT MY DOOR TODAY 12/19 - YES YES!!! Thank You TOYWIZ - we will be doing business again I can assure you of that - thank you again and Happy Holidays!!

"Toywiz had a good price on a hard to find out of print item (Mage Knight 3d Dungeons Starter Pack) and I placed an order online for three. The next day I got an email letting me know they only had one in stock, and offering me a refund of my order. I opted for the refund, but then a service rep called to let me know I could purchase the one they had and they would refund the difference to my Paypal account. I accepted that offer.
As far as I can tell the Paypal refund was submitted and the item shipped that very same day! The guy I spoke to was friendly and helpful, and I was impressed by their customer service and speedy shipping. The item was as described, packed appropriately, and arrived undamaged.
Of course, it would have been better if their online site had kept me from ordering more items than they had in stock in the first place, which is the only reason I'm knocking them down a point."
"I ordered two action figures for a Christmas present. I didn't see an update on their site with a shipping number. I waited a few days, mostly because I got busy. On day four after the order, I sent an email requesting status. They sent back an email a few hours later with the tracking number. UPS actually delivered the items the same day. This was only four days from the order date. I also got another email from ToyWiz showing the item was delivered -manually sent with my original attached. I really appreciate the good communication at a busy shipping time.
Update: I was checking email and they did send me tracking info. It was from "QuantumView". I think I saw it when it was first sent, then lost track. So, I really didn't need to contact their customer service. The good part is they passed my test."
"Preordered something in March. The shipping estimate was April, at which time it gets moved back to July....
But that's not the end of it, not by far. The problem is I moved to a new home in June. So naturally, I emailed them in May about my change of address. Got an auto-reply and nothing else. I eventually forgot about it. And it turns out that they never got the email.
Cause after I finally got the shipping confirmation apparently they didn't change the address and still sent it to the old one. I sent them 3 more emails only to have the mailer daemon tell me failed delivery because their mailbox. is. full.
So I call their number, get told there's nothing they can do. Just gotta wait for it to go back and then if I want they can re-ship it with additional charge.
In the end, I called UPS, gave them the tracking number, and had the person change the shipping address. The item had already been shipped (attempted) to my old address, so I thought there might be additional shipping charges... but nope, it was done for free. Package went from WI to MN in 2 days. Appreciation goes to UPS for this consumer-oriented policy; they just secured all my shipping business for the forseeable future.
All ToyWiz had to do was tell me that UPS had this policy and call UPS. But I guess they don't know their own business partners. Never buying from them again."
