Parts purchasing and receiving

"I have bought $100s of dollars of Toyota parts on 3-4 different occasions. Finding the parts I need from your website is horrific at best. Naming conventions, wrong diagrams, and unreliable as to whether part fits my VIN. I usually have to go to Toyota Parts Dealer to find my part and determine it fits before just putting part number in to order from your online site.

Secondly, every time I have gone in to receive my parts, your parts specialist does not acknowledge that you are even there. I stood there for over 10 minutes while one rep just stared at his computer. When I asked if he was available was told we will be with you when we can, my computer is broken. I have received nothing but horrible customer service each and every time I come in to pick up my online purchases.

not the customer service i was expecting from a toyota dealer

"overall experience was ok. the part sections had my order ready within 3 days. however, they didnt update the website. I just found out about it after calling the dealer and asking about the status of my order. I also ended up waiting on-hold for over 7 minutes to talk to the next available representative. When picking the order up in person, the person at the front desk didnt seem too eager to help, he was deeply focused on his screen, it felt like im really bothering him and he was trying to avoid any conversations. Overall i got what i wanted to fix my car but didnt have the best experience interacting with the staff at the front desk. "

Packaging

"Part of the product was protruding from the box and the masking tape on the ends of the box were fraying apart.
Very flimsy packaging for heavy product. Luckily the product was not damaged but just some cosmetic scuffs that were not going to show, otherwise a good experience and would use again.

Disappointed with Miscommunication on Touch-Up Paint Order

"I ordered touch-up paint online and received an email within 2 days stating it was ready for pickup. Excited to get started on my project, I drove 40 minutes to the store. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the staff informed me there had been a mistake and the paint would actually take 2 weeks to be ready. Disappointingly, there was no apology offered for the inconvenience caused by the miscommunication."

Buying a New Corolla Cross Hybrid

"Buying a car is always a long process. It was very helpful to start the process here looking at slightly used RAV4 hybrids. The sales staff were friendly, nice, helpful, and not too pushy. I decided to go with a new Corolla Cross Hybrid instead. Even though I found the one I wanted in Cedar Park, I have continued to order accessories from North Austin and will also use them for all future warrantied service. They're much closer to my house. Anyway, if they had had a Nightshade trim Corolla Cross in red/black with crossbars already installed, I would have gone with them, so. Cedar Park just happened to have the perfect one that checked all the boxes. This dealership is certainly a reputable place to buy a car. I would recommend."

Slow Service With Annoyingly Strange Pricing Processes

"I went to Toyota of North Austin to purchase a replacement smart key for a Prius. There were several employees in the Parts Department, but none were helping customers or making eye contact. With two people ahead of me in line it took over 20 minutes to be recognized and served. The part was in stock, but the price was 25% more than the price listed on Toyota of North Austin's Parts Department web site. When I asked about the discrepancy I was told "that's the online price." I asked how could I get the online price? Answer: Order online and come back here to pick it up. Really? What was the process? Walk to the back of the line, order the part on my phone (for $60 less than quoted at the parts counter), wait (again) to advance to the front of the line, show my receipt, and receive the part. It was roughly a 45 minute process"
