"I ordered large stainless steel U-bolts to fasten a new jack to the trailer frame. The parts were the exact parts ordered. The delivery was a few days after I placed the order. I am pleased and will order again if I have similar needs"
"My original review: I confirmed critical part specs with the order taker only to receive a part that doesn't meet those specs. The included dust cap is badly bent. The bearings and races have minor rust blemishes. That said, the parts were better than the service. I'm out $45 for shipping. My normal supplier has a tech staff that confirmed none of their (my normal supplier) parts would work.
Update: John from Trailer Parts Depot contacted me. We had a nice discussion and he agreed to a full refund."
"Trailer Parts Depot is a terrible company to work with. After having 1 bad experience with them where my order took over 3 weeks to get to me (even though they said it was in stock), I made the mistake of ordering from them a 2nd time. This time was even worse. They billed my credit card twice and then refused to rectify the issue. Extremely rude customer service. They advertise products at 1 price, but when you go to buy the product, the price changes once you get to your shopping cart. Also, they shipping is a complete rip off - it does not cost $14 to ship a tail light from MA to NJ. "
"I ordered some trailer bunk wraps and carpet from this vendor on-line. After a week of waiting for them to ship the parts, I contacted them to determine what the delay was. They indicated that they were out of stock on the carpet. I asked them to delete the carpet from the order and just send the bunk wraps. Now the web site indicates that I have no orders pending. As of this point, I don't know what is going on. Very poor customer service, poor communication, and poor execution. Stay away. "

"Purchased Galvanized Tandem Trailer Fenders - Good customer interaction, despite PayPal transaction error between PP & TPD. Product condition & features were disappointing - mounting holes were not drilled before galvanizing and the shrink wrap packaging was insufficient to protect the product during shipping. The fenders arrived with deep scratches through the packaging & rust proof coating. These fenders are for a boat trailer that will be used in salt water. Because of the scratches and having to drill the mounting surfaces, the useful life will be dramatically reduce. Otherwise construction was good, none of this would have really been an issue if I were using the trailer in fresh water."
"Have only had good experiences with this company. Long email chains asking questions about the right way to repair my boat trailer or options on parts were answered promptly and helpfully. They helped me save money and carry what you need. Their website is excellent also. Shipping cost complaints are laughable - these are heavy metal parts - axles, brakes, etc. It always seemed reasonable to me after several orders."
"Terrible terrible terrible! Poor packing caused lost parts and delay of receiving order in full.
I placed an order with these guys for over 1000 dollars recently and had an unsatisfying experience. I ordered parts over the weekend to do a full brake and suspension rebuild. Usually if you make a purchase online over the weekend it ships out next business day, not with these guys! I called and spoke to Kim on the afternoon of the second business day and she said she would "try" to get it out that day. Well I checked tracking and the parts were due to arrive by Thursday. Great! Kim did her job, I can get my trailer rebuilt this weekend! So... Thursday comes... 4 of 5 boxes arrive, one of the 4 boxes is a pretty flimsy box, not really good for shipping a 30-40 lb brake actuator that I just paid 240 dollars for, the box is damaged and torn open. If it came with hardware, it was missing. The larger problem here was the missing package #5 of 5 (4 leaf springs!). A week later I received a replacement set of leaf springs due to the first set being lost in transit by fedex. the day I finally received my springs both sets showed up and it was clear that the first set was lost because the shipping label taped directly to the springs had been damaged. YES! They had wrapped 4 sets of 5 leaf springs together with shrink wrap and slapped a shipping label directly to the 70lb bundle of steel, NO BOX! I will never use this company again! Wish I would have spent my hard earned 1044
dollars with someone else. NEVER AGAIN!"
"After ordering my part, I received a very unprofessional looking email (with purple fonts!) from an address that differed from the one I paid in my PayPal saying that I owed an additional $10 shipping. I thought "This has got to be a scam". So I called and spoke to 'Kim'. She was the one that had sent the email. I voiced my displeasure that my item had been delayed a day for something like additional charges that should have shown up in the cart if the Database Administrator had a whit of sense. I sent Kim proof of the additional payment and waited. 17 DAYS later I called, and they had not shipped the order! Kim-of-the-purple-fonts hadn't done her job, and they were waiting for my $10. The purple fonts should have tipped me off. This is not an organization that is running a tight ship."
