"I ordered a Canon 5DS-r and Canon 100-400L II from TriState. The listings clearly stated what was included with each item. I didn't receive any "up sale" calls and unlike some other grey market purveyors the camera and lens came with all their standard accessories.

Both the camera and lens arrived in less than a week packed in proper Canon cartons and, as advertised, were brand new. As expected, the camera's warranty card was for a TriState one year warranty, not a Canon warranty. The lens did not come with a warranty card.

I would purchase from TriState again."

"I purchased a "brand new" lens from TriState camera, however upon receiving the lens I found that the factory seal had already been fully broken, indicating that this was no longer a new lens. I reached out to customer support for guidance on this issue, and was sent a series of unhelpful, dismissive, and grammatically incorrect responses.

Most items I wouldn't be too concerned about, but a camera lens can go from new to damaged very quickly when someone opens the box, so it feels pretty unacceptable that TriState was unwilling to work with me to remedy the situation.

Side note on the resellerratings app, it seems a little bit biased that when you go to submit a negative review you are hit with a pop-up message to reconsider your review."

"Ordered a new Canon M6 Mark ii (Body Only) for the lowest price online I could find after ordering a camera bag and having it delivered within 48 hours. Ordered the camera on a Saturday morning, it was delivered 3 days later. On Monday afternoon, I had received a phone call wanting to confirm that I ordered a Body Only and that no lens would be included.

I confirmed that I had indeed wanted the Body Only, then got asked if I wanted any accessories or extended warranty with it. The minute I got asked about the extended warranty, I thought "uh-oh, heard the horror stories and I will never get the camera". The rep had also confirmed the camera would ship out on Monday, but it shipped out on Tuesday after I had called them again about the delay. UPS tracking information was emailed as well.

Camera was delivered the following business day, with the Canon warranty card removed and a generic "Tri-State Camera" warranty card inside. It seems they sell international versions cameras, which is fine by me. Just went into the settings and changed the video format from PAL to NTSC... done.

Wouldn't hesitate to order from them for all my future camera needs."
