Have your item shipped...

"Ordering was quick, item was ready quickly, but finding a place to park and where to go to pick up the item was terrible. I received an email that at the very bottom mentioned going to the 2nd Toyota location on the street. So I did, but where do I go from there???? The place was parked beyond capacity with cars and was difficult to find a spot to park to even walk around. There was no clear signage of where to go to find "will call" which is where my item was supposed to be, finally after walking around for a while I found a door on the right hand side of the building that was labeled Will Call. My item was there, I signed a paper and received it. I will not be purchasing from here again."

Shockingly poor customer service

"Don't bother with service managers Bobby & Tom and shop foremen Rudy. Walked in on Thursday January 7th wanting to schedule an appointment because of several malfunctions present after turning on my 2020 Supra after a period of not driving it due to covid quarantine. Tom said next available was upcoming Monday January 11th so I scheduled it. I explained to Tom and showed proof that other supra owners had same issue and codes present out of the blue. 2 owners had issued resolved by software update to car and some sensor recalibration, another said his car apparently needed an alignment & it fixed all issues, one said his battery was drained causing all malfunctions but I've already had my battery replaced once because of a defective one so I doubt my battery is the problem. I requested an oil change be done, alignment & malfunctions fixed by suggested software update that other owners had done by their local service departments. Dropped off car Monday 1/11 at 7am, received a call at 4pm of him saying all 11 codes I have are suspension related and that the car was recently lowered and that the install of springs caused all the codes, told him that day that its been lowered long time and malfunctions are a known issue recently with other owners and I feel would be fixed by update, he asked that I email proof of other owners experience and that he would review with Bobby & Rudy. Firstly one of the codes is a drive terrain malfunction which popped on Saturday December 12th on my way to Las Vegas called as soon as it popped up and mentioned to person named Amanda that malfunction showed up on my screen and she said to bring it in and accomated a same day appointment dropoff as I told her I was going to Vegas only for the day. I did not end up making that appointment because felt extremely feverish on drive back, 2 days later on December 14th got tested for covid and results came back positive so following that day I didn't drive car until January 6th. Car sat for my quarantine and when I turned on was greeted by all the new fault codes. Tom Higgins called me after having car 1 day and half telling me i have to pay them $532.50 for a diagnosis plus $350 for an alignment. He claimed they decided to not work on it under warranty because all codes caused by recently lowering. Also claim to deny alignment through warranty as its covered under 12months/12kmiles because of a rear toe link being replaced, that comes as a huge disappointment considering it points to who noted not being fully aware of what part he is talking about, the rear toe links are oem, what was replaced was a known failing part on the supra which is the trailing arm which would not hinder him from doing the alignment as it's not adjusted during alignment process being that it's fixed! Thing to note the car was lowered 8/25/2020 told service advisor Tom and have proof of it being lowered since that day. They've even had car in for service shortly after on September 2nd-5th and technician Quang had to be well aware it was lowered considering he had it for 3 days with 31 miles of test driving because of a misfire and smoking out exhaust. By their logic all malfunctions which include drive terrain, chasis stabilization, driving stabilization, restrait system, parking break, rear axle differential lock, parking assistance, pedestrian warning, front collision, blind spot monitor, & cross traffic are related to car being lowered "recently" per their notes. Also an interesting note put by tech is "module plugged into the dcl3 port"? Not sure how that correlates to anything nor know exactly what he means but I'll guess that he meant my obd data reader plugged into the obd port used to monitor engine temps. If that would be one of their reasoning in avoiding warranty work I would be shocked. Another thing, I didn't know my entire driver assistance package, airbags, seatbelt tensioner, & parking break malfunctions were suspension related. If this issue isn't them trying to swindle money out of warranty work and violating Magnuson Moss Act then I don't know what is."

Room for improvement

"The online ordering process is simple enough, it's the follow-up after that is rough. The automated emails is a work in progress and the building where the will call is needs a large sign to show where to go. Otherwise it just looks like a used car lot. With all the new cars stacked in the driveway you can barely get to the door. I had to call 3 times just to get someone to call me back."

Brand New Replacement Door Handle at Same Cost as Aftermarket (Cheaper Looking) Alternative

"I purchased an aftermarket replacement for my Toyota door handle only to discover a cheap and plastic looking part. I did an on-line order from Toyota for free pick up to Tustin Toyota. The part was discounted by approximately 15% and was the same cost as the aftermarket part. The part was on backorder but only had to wait one week and was notified by e-mail it was available for pick up. I am very happy with the process."
