"I WOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE ORDERING ANYTHING FROM THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES ONLINE DUE TO THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL AND INAPPROPRIATE ATTITUDE AND DEMEANOR TOWARD ANYONE WHO QUESTIONS THEIR SHIPPING METHODS/TECHNIQUES:

I purchased a knife from Two Point Enterprises (www.gerber-tools.com) in early March 2009. My order process was cumbersome because of restrictions on automatic opening knives which I understood from the get-go. It was not until I didn't understand why my order was not shipped after waiting an appropriate amount of time to inquire as to the delay. After I confronted them about the delay I was told:

"You need to wait for your shipment before jumping to any conclusions. We have EVERYDAY since
your order provided you with all the information that you have requested.

"You package will not arrive any faster by emailing us constantly."

"No, there is no insurance on the knife. If the knife is lost, and the tracking number shows delivered you'll be responsible for the loss, not us."

"(Let me remind you we're shipping a $150 knife, not a block of gold)"

"Chill out and let your knife get delivered and please stop harrassing our customer service agents. They can only take so much beating up on before they can't handle it any more. Out of dealing with about 7000 transactions
since she's hired on, you're only like the 4th person she's escalated to me."

The above comments are just the ones I received in e-mail, I received verbal comments from their Rep over the phone which were very unprofessional and inappropriate which only confirmed to me that their staff does not like being confronted, even when it is done in a tactful and professional manner.

I did some research on their main company and a total of 8 companies they go under with different names. The following are Negative Reviews currently contained on www.resellerratings.com

All but one are extremely recent and show a trend of unprofessional behavior and responses to unhappy customers, who is wrong here, the company representatives or the customer, it isn’t hard to figure out!

If you ever had a problem with the product or with the order forget it, there is 1800 number and the person who always answers it Amy, very rude and unprofessional, hang up the phone on me. I also talked with the owner of the company, I was suprised to see that he was also very unprofessional and unvilling to help to fix the issue. I suggest you to never engage in a business transaction with this company.

Very unprofessional people to do a business with charged me extra for shipping and shipped to wrong address. When asked to show me a bill for shipment, failed to do so, never seen the product and only received 50% of the actual money that I paid and it was all they’re mistake and failed to respond to all my attempts. SAVE YOUR MONEY FROM THEM.

I ordered a SOG Seal Pup Elite, Black TiNi w/ kydex sheath Sunday night. Tuesday noon I send an email concerned because my order had not been shipped yet, and they replied in short by saying I could cancel my order if I wanted to.
I replied (very politely) asking how long it should take, and received a reply with this: "Go burden somebody elses support staff with your problems. We'll keep shipping to other people who know how to sit back and chill."
IMO, its a very interesting approach to customer service, but oh well..Thank god for competition.

SCAM!!! I ordered some computer parts and never got them. A few weeks after I ordered I emailed them and they said it was out of stock but now it was back in stock and that they would ship it. Still hasn't come. Been a month now.
