"I bought the Tyent purifier about 3 years ago. The filters were supposed to last about 1 year. The 1st year that was the case; then I had to replace the 2nd set of filters in 6 mos; then I had to replace those in about 4 months; the next set also needed replacement after 4 months. I wrote to Tyent to ask them if there was some type of special cleaning or something that needed to be done, because I was not going to pay the $100 or $200 every 4 months for filters. They never got back with me so I unhooked the Tyent system and put it in my basement. A waste of about $3,000; including all the filters."
