"My laptop battery was showing signs of quickly deteriorating so I came here seeking a new one. I found the battery here in all color options and better yet, they were in stock. Or so the site said. After paying for the battery (on a Saturday) I was expecting to see it ship early the next week. Instead, a week passed and it still hadn't started my way. I called to ask the status and was told it was on back order and could I wait another week? I was irate that I had been misled by the website. However, my laptop was getting worse by the day and had deteriorated enough that I needed constant power just to keep it running sporadically. Early the following week the status updated to Shipped but looking at the tracking it hadn't, UPS had just been notified to expect a package. Evidently that counts as being shipped? Finally my battery arrived packaged in small padded box and shipping envelope. Despite no damage to the outside packaging, the battery had a large ding on the face of it, obviously not in perfect condition, though I recall paying full price for it. The battery appears to work properly and my laptop is running again, however, this experience has been less than satisfying for several reasons. 1) I felt cheated into commiting to a purchase based on the false IN STOCK status I saw on the website 2) no attempt was made to alert me that it would take longer than expected and it was only when I took the initiative to call that I found out what was going on 3) the product, though functional, was slightly damaged which isn't what I was paying for. I would not recommend this site to anyone and doubt I'd ever bother coming back. Just unacceptable treatment at every since step of the process (except taking my money)."
